Yes I have. Thanks for the links by the way. I pray the rosary daily and also read the gospel. I have quiet time too. The urge just seems to be getting stronger. I exercise and try to burn energy. I might as well just give in.

Just throwing an idea, but busy your mind on something else, get your mind off of it. Read the Gospels a little bit, listen to your favorite song or watch a movie and I would be very surprised if the temptation persisted while your mind was elsewhere in the Gospels, a song or a movie etc

I don’t know your age I didn’t read all the posts but I did read some of them anyway a good reason not to do it besides the fact it is in fact a mortal sin is because it just takes up too much time. I’m a full time University student and if I’m doing that I’m not doing other things. I forgot how much I loved reading and right now I am actually reading a book other than the Bible although I still read that I try to read a chapter a day of the Bible. If I am not doing what the original post is that I have time to read I have time to exercise I have time to enjoy my life. I am currently reading St Clare of Assisi by Nesta de Robeck. I don’t know how much you like to read but let me tell you it is a great alternative as long as it is something worth reading. Trust me I still struggle with that same thing even at my age and even though I did it before I was 13 I’ve had trouble with it since then. And like I said I am well into my twenties. I know it’s wrong and sometimes you slip up and do it anyway but that’s the cool thing about being Catholic is that I can go to the confessional and have it taken care of gone. Just remember God loves you
