That’s not always the case…if the person is a true alcoholic it has become a biological urge. I am married to a recovering alcoholic and and I can say for sure, that during a period of our relationship, drinking was absolutely a biological urge. I have to say that masturbation is a problem for a lot of people and I think it detracts from the marital act. It allows the person to become completely consumed with themselves and think nothing of another person-at least not in a lustful way-…which is the opposite of what true giving is about.
