I have a small oval silver-colored religious medal which depicts a figure with uplifted arms kneeling before a bare cross on what seems to be a hill or island with the words THE MATRIX running around the top, and with two interlinked hearts dripping blood on the back of the medal.

Does anyone know anything about this medal? What do the words THE MATRIX mean?

I have one myself, it means to mold, and it was given to Christina Gallagher.
Iv’e heard stories of the Two Hearts bleeding, and it is supposed to bring a change to those that wear it.
On the link you will see Christina wearing one herself.

"JUST CALL IT ‘THE MATRIX’, MY SON WISHES TO MOLD."

MEDAL

Our Blessed Lady requested in an early apparition, in March 1988 that a special medal be struck, with the Cross on one side, and before the Cross, Our Lady on her knees. "I would like my Son’s Cross on it, with Me on my knees praying for my children. On the other side, I would like the two Hearts (of Jesus and Mary) weeping tears of blood."
When asked by Christina what the medal should be called, Our Lady replied: "Simply call it The Matrix. My Son wishes to mold."
On the same occasion, Our Lady stated: "My child, my Son and I hurt very much when our children do not hear us. Their hearts are closed to Us. Pray, pray, pray and make sacrifices to my Son’s Heart, that people will hear us calling them."

But as always caution is needed, as Christina is still under investigation by the Church.

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that according to Unity Publishing, "Archbishop Michael Neary investigated Mrs. Gallagher and declared her “charism” contained no evidence of miracles or supernatural intervention."

I find it most helpful to stick with the Church approved apparitions. One of my favorites is The Divine Mercy Devotion. (The feast day is coming up the Sunday after Easter.)

There are so many unapproved and even disapproved apparitions out there these days that can so easily confuse the faithful, that IMO, its best to stick with those already approved by the Church as being worthy of belief.

God Bless.

Yes thanks, I’ve read Unitys report, but Rick doesn’t seem open to e-mails, mine have all bounced back.
And the Church hasn’t forbidden us to go to the house of prayer on Achill Island, (achilles heel) when the church forbids us to go, then I won’t in total obedience to it.
I usually keep these things on the back burner, and let time take care of them.
Yes the Divine Mercy Novena is my favourite as well, starting offcourse on Good Friday, and ending on Low Sunday, I’ve done it about 4 years now.

Cheers & Bye !

Thank you very much! And thanks for the link too. I’ve been puzzled ever since I got the medal. Now I know!

I wasn’t aware that there was an apparition associated with the medal since I didn’t know what the medal was. Thanks for letting me know.

:blessyou:

You’re welcome! I had received one as well and didn’t know anything about the apparition in question either until I did some research.

Just wanted to say, because last week on EWTN I heard the prayer to the (Lady of all Nations)

So if you look this site up, you’ll see Rick is at it again, so is EWTN wrong to have that prayer on air ?
This makes me wonder about his time he spent in Ireland trying to hunt down Christina, trying to drag her into the mud.

unitypublishing.com/jan1_99.html

On August 25, 1961 The Holy Office (Prot. N. 511/53): "After serious consultation the Holy Office concluded, that the judgment is definite and that it may not be taken up again. The messages are false and they stay further Forbidden for publication."

From Unitys website.4HisChurch------ I’m not trying to get at you or anybody else, I’m just trying to get to the truth.

Hey, Joshua,
I agree with you! I REALLY want to get at the truth, myself. There are other apparitions that seem to be approved, and then I see other (I thought, reputable) sites saying that they are not. :banghead:

I truly, truly wish there were something definative from the Vatican, that would put some of these to rest. Maybe its because there are so many out there right now and with the internet, it’s so easy to get so much, conflicting information!

Basically, this has caused me to stick with fully approved apparitions (like Divine Mercy) and pretty much avoid the ones going on right now.

Oh, BTW, the above quote–is that from unity publishing regarding Christina? (Sorry to be so dense!)

Happy St. Pat’s Day! ☘️

Thanks, it was one of the quietest Saint Pat’s day I’ve had, by desire may I add.
The quote is from Unitys website, thing is, and I don’t want to push the moderators buttons too far.
But even tonight St, Patricks night, I heard the prayer to Our Lady of all nations, thing is Unity doesn’t do that alleged apparation any favours, check the link.
unitypublishing.com/jan1_99.html

So all I’m saying is, if we believe Unity, then EWTN shouldn’t have the prayer to “Our Lady of all Nations” on air.
Thats all I’m saying, like you I’m a little more than confused, but will be more than cautious.

Hi, everyone… I have a question about a medal I saw online… it’s called the Matrix medal. the site where I saw it was www.christinagallagher.org Does anyone know anymore about it ? After I had read about it I got some medals from ebay and there was one in the group!

Madeleine, Christina Gallagher is one of a number of unapproved “visionaries” and this medal was conceived by her.

OK… thanks for the information…I didn’t know anything about them. That’s why I like to ask people who know more than I. 🙂

Found this on EWTN’s website: ewtn.com/expert/answers/our_lady_of_all_nations.htm
I don’t know anything about Unity’s website, or about Rick, but I prefer the more straightforward and less dramatic way EWTN answers their questions.

God Bless,
Anne

A priest helps the lady, Christina Gallagher, open a public praying place somewhere in Texas, not far from where I live. I don’t think the priest has the permission to do so. Furthermore, my diocese’s bishop and priests warn all of us not to go to this place; thus, I wouldn’t wear this medal.

My girlfriend was taken there by someone, and when she got home she brought me the medal! That was how I found out that our parish’s priest also advised us not to to this place.

Some people would not listen and still go there. I dont’ know why they do that but their parish’s chapel where the Real presence of Jesus is there, but they find this place better instead…

Just to clarify. Archbishop Neary has not investigated
Christina Gallagher. He has yet to meet Mrs. Gallagher in
person nor does he express any desire to authenticate
her apparitions. Be wary of what the Irish press says.
While I was visiting Ireland, I have come to find they are publishing
slanderous and libelous things. The archbishop hasn’t investigated this apparition AT ALL. However, he has repeatedly
denied any type of supernatural authenticity w/out investigation.
Nevertheless, Both Christina Gallagher and Fr. McGinty have obeyed the request of the diocese not to celebrate any of the
sacraments in the House of Prayer.

Some misunderstandings to clarify regarding Christina Gallagher. As one who met & spoke with this seer it is my belief that she is genuine. First, we need to address a few misconceptions.

1.) Archbishop Neary hasn’t met, authenticated, nor investigated anything w/ regard to Mrs. Gallagher. His general attitude has been to completely ignore the situation.

…THE CURRENT ARCHBISHOP IS IN DISAGREEMENT with
the previous archbishop’s stance. Archbishop Joseph Cassidy
opened the House of Prayer on July 17, 1993, and at that time
ALL SACRAMENTS were available.

… Archbishop Cassidy Held this postion for 4 & 1/2 years till
radically altered by his sucessor Archbishop Michael Neary
who stripped the House of Prayer of the Sacraments;

3.) Christina Gallagher HAS NOT BEEN DISOBEDIENT. Her spiritual director Fr. McGinty has complied w/ the request not to celebrate any sacraments in the House of prayer. Nor are people forbidden to believe in the apparitionary site or visits the Houses of Prayer

4.) Several Irish publishers have slandered and misrepresented the facts concerning the case. The only sure way to get the facts is to call the dioceasan office of the bishop of which she resides.
Diocese of Tuam: 011-353-(093)24-166

5.) The archbishop Neary has made some comments doubting the apparitions but a quick inquiry will reveal that on his part there has been no extensive investigation nor has he provided any detailed evidence from the diocesan commission to investigate her in 1997. TO MY KNOWLEDGE, HE HASN’T EVEN MET HER.

6.) Jesus does make threats & chastise in NT. times. Bl Luisa of Piccareta wrote, “The Book of Heaven.” approved by the Church as authentic. The Lord relates various natural disasters, wars due to mans sins which take effect in later years. Revelation is filled with chastisements. Ananias and Sapphira die before Peter for not sharing gifts with community. Acts 5 v: 1-10. Hebrew 12:4-6. St. Faustina is told of a time of justice.

7.) Mary at rare times does exhibit justice within messages. Akita (a church approved message by then Cardinal prefect Ratzinger) stated fire would come from the sky to consume its inhabitants.

8.) A current visionary approved by his Bishop states similar things about the current state of the world; including a chastisment and the future rise of an antichrist. This APPROVED visionary is named Barnabas Nwoye. His Bishop (Illorin Diocese Nigeria) is Ayo-Maria Atoyebi.

9.) The Vatican doesn’t investigate ANY private revelation until all the messages have been received. This way a full investigation into the entire content of the revelation can be examined; (ie Medjugorge included). Thus, The Vatican is what has the final word on any private revelation.

10.) official titles sanctioning a private revelation are the following:
A. Constat de supernaturalitate (positive reccmd.)
B. Non Constat de supernaturalitate (neutral~faithful
judge according to measure of prudence
C. Constat de non-supernaturalitate (condemned).

As such, the Vatican hasn’t condemned nor approved the messages of Christina Gallagher. This means they leave it up to the prudent judgement of the faithful.

11.) Some criteria that the CDF uses when looking at a particular case are the following:
A: Look at the message content~its theology. The
theology must be orthodox.
B: Phenomena. Are there healings, miracles, supernatural
occurences.
C: The fruit of the apparition must be good. Particularly
spiritual fruit of conversion to Christ.

11.) As of yet no glaring theological errors have been found within Christina Gallaghers writings. Her messages aren’t that theologically complicated to warrant suspicion. Yet this hasn’t stopped unqualified theological experts from opinionating on a issue they are not commissioned for.

12.) Almost All Saints are controversial. St. Padre Pio, his main opponent was a cardinal within the Vatican. Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for some have entertained angels unaware”. It is easy to form an opinion about someone without investigation. But remember, that rash judgement is not pleasing to the Lord nor does it build up the body of Christ. For one could be persecuting a future saint of the Church without knowledge.

13.) Most of her critics have not met nor spoken with Christina Gallagher.

14.) 2 major predictions of hers have come true.
A: Two years prior on the exact date she predicted the
destruction of the world trade towers
B: Several years prior she predicted accurately the tsunami
(an event not even thought of in its region) till it occurred.

In Summation:
I can only give the testimony of one who has met and spoken with this women. I found her to be sincere and filled with the Holy Spirit. As I shook her hand I felt an intense inner experience as the Holy Spirit confirmed to me that this woman suffered greatly. Nevertheless, I ask you to have an open heart and search for the truth. I understand why her messages give many pause; They are filled with justice, retribution, and punishment. But this is NOT a CRITERIA to dismiss her nor does it prove invalidity. Consider this, If God did commission someone for a difficult task such as telling others that we are entering into an apocalyptic reign, What easy way would there be to break the news? No one can doubt the evil of this era that is why I think you should at least listen 1st then judge. If God does commision this woman then it is for a greater good and benefit the Church. Thirdly, “All things are possible with God.”
Therefore: It is up to the prudent and prayerful response of each individual Catholic to make a decision regarding Christina Gallagher till the Vatican rules.

True, I went to Mass and Confessions at the House of Prayer, the Confessionals were just like little wooden garden sheds at the rear of the house, on last visit they were closed

I don’t think Mass is allowed nor Confessions at the house, no surprise there as the Catholic Church and it’s Confessionals are available just 200 yards from it.

Yes the Sunday Wold just recently did a story on her, saying that she lives in a plush house with high walls etc;

I don’t know where they got those pics from, it isn’t hard to take a picture of a mansion and say it’s hers.

Also even the type of motor she drives, but hear a lie, tell a lie.
5.) TO MY KNOWLEDGE, HE HASN’T EVEN MET HER.
I’m not sure if he has either.
13.) Most of her critics have not met nor spoken with Christina Gallagher.
As one who has met her several times all I can say is she seems a nice lady, but me thinking she is nice won’t sway the Vatican, remember the Spanish Nun that misled the wise and learned for 30 years, until it was found out that she had sold her soul to satan, we can’t be too careful.

And if we think we can’t be deceived, then we probably will.
14.) 2 major predictions of hers have come true.
A: Two years prior on the exact date she predicted the
destruction of the world trade towers
B: Several years prior she predicted accurately the tsunami

Well according to one site, the twin towers prediction was too vague, “All this will be destroyed” that is when she was in NY City.

“All this” doesn’t exactly p(name removed by moderator)oint the Twin Towers.

Yes she did use axis, then President Bush used the term axis of evil. 🤷

Yes but as above, the Spanish Nun ? anyway for now I don’t bother with the Matrix medal anymore.

Ive been wearing the Miraculous Medal for 30 plus years and the Brown Scapular for less, and those two suffice for me.

If she is true or not to me right now it doesn’t matter, I’m fed up to the teeth with seers and alleged seers, and now only stick to Church Approved.

Jesus told us not to worry, you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, and many will say He is there, but do not go.

Even alleged seers could be trying to steal us away from following the true Christ, there are many false Christs.

Matt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. 25 Behold I have told it to you, beforehand.

It is true we should be careful and prudent always following the voice of Christ. And yes, a false seer can steal people away from God. So we should always be careful and prudent. But also remember, a false seer can be like the ones in Jeremiah telling everyone nothing is wrong…that all is okay. This is a message that has been reiterated from many church leaders while we have had the trajedy of abortion, falling away of faith in many parishes, general disobedience from clergy towards the Vatican, a rampant permiscuss society, widespread homosexuality, pedophilia, embroytic stem cell research, genetic manipulation, materialism, idol worship of the modern media and many other sins which aren’t even mentioned by the clergy on Sunday. The judgement of the soul, hell, heaven, death, and many other significant teachings have been neglected over the past 40 years.

So yes be careful of false seers. But pray to the Lord to show you who they are. As for myself, I go with the Vatican on everything. I’m not so confident about the rest of the church leadership. As for Christina, time will reveal whether she is true or false. All I’m saying is just don’t jump to conclusions without prayer and discernment.

From Jeremiah
“They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly,
Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ when there is no peace.
Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination?
No! They were not at all ashamed; nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
At the time I punish them, they shall be cast down,” says the Lord.” Jeremiah 6:14-15
