Matt Lauer: NBC sacks Today Show host over 'inappropriate sexual behaviour'

Should have sacked him years ago because he stinks at his job. Then someone wouldn’t have had to endure his behavior.
 
And he got sacked just over 1 accusation, though they believe it was not an Isolated event.
 
Wow. Some very big names in the news media are getting dropped.
 
Soon it will only be Females and Newbie Males doing the News. 😉

I had to google him…I only follow Football…any other Sport on TV is non-existent to me…except when my wife’s Red Sox, Celtics, or Bruins are in the playoffs…then I am matrimonily obligated to watch…😉

Nielsen Ratings also dictate your assessment is wrong. Those ratings coupled with polls determine contract amounts.

I was too until I read some stuff on his wiki page.
They have a son, Jack Matthew (born 2001), and a daughter, Romy (born 2004). I’m no fan of Matt Lauer but an accusation in divorce hardly means anything. If I remember correctly before no fault divorce people had to make extreme accusations to even get a divorce. With alimony being a big deal I am sure there is plenty of incentive to make wild accusations.

Then you should have heard of him from your wife, because his contract and general pudginess was a millstone around the Red Sox for the last few years.

Yes, I know people liked him, but he always struck me as an arrogant jerk in the way he interviewed politicians as his personal bias came through.

I have no use for most celebrity journalists.

Neither of us actually watch the Today show. I am at work and she is usually walking during that time. Matter of Fact, the wife only watches the Nightly News and that has diminished some since Scott Pelley resigned from his spot on CBS.

It will just crush her if Scott Pelley every gets accused.

Oh, I was talking about Pablo Sandoval, not Matt Lauer. Look up the last few years of Sandoval’s doings on the Sox.
 
I’ll have my son ( another avid New England fan ) look it up and then transmit the info to her… She will not like it if comes from me…
She is a diehard…anything coming from me that puts a negative light on one of her teams…well you know…like we experience here when we put a negative light on a Rep…😉
