Obama made “catastrophic decisions” in Iraq, Mattis concludes. And he did so because he ignored the advice coming from multiple military and civilian advisers, thinking he knew better than all of them.

“At the top, then as now, there was an aura of omniscience. The assessments of the intelligence community, our diplomats, and our military had been excluded from the decision-making circle,” Mattis writes.

Pretty clear, those catastrophic decisions and against the advice of everyone led to the rise of ISIS, the decimation of Catholics (Chaldeans, Assyrians) and other groups. We are fortunate to have largely left this problem behind with busting the Caliphate. The apparatus was somewhat installed by the end of President Obama’s administration, so full credit there.

Okay, now let the Trump criticism fest continue. Personally, I can’t think of hardly anything worse. I mean there are bad things a president supports, that is true, it might be in the party platform, I won’t get into that more.

I could never understand how we could just leave a country that we had essentially taken over. It costs us 2 plus trillion in debt to win that war.

We made promises to the Iraqi people and then we just walked away knowing that when we did that, the same destructive forces would come back. Isis came into play. Made no sense to put that much money and effort in and then leave abruptly, just a political ploy which made us look foolish.

Look at how long we stayed in South Korea.

Best vote and the main reason I voted for Trump was to end this Christian Genocide, best vote ever, the military did it but he got out of the way and let them do their business and the SDF, Syrian Democratic Forces made up of Kurds, Christians and others, certainly deserve praise for their great sacrifices. Many foreigners, including Brits, Americans, Australians, Canadians and so on, have gone to fight with the Kurds. Many making the ultimate sacrifice, Trump needs to stay the course, his record is not perfect either. No President’s is.
 
Obama had the military training officers about ‘men’ giving birth
and how to deal with shower issues as genetic male and female were mixed together on bases.
