Well, let’s all just keep the lamps fillled with oil and the wicks trimmed.

Anything could happen at any time.
I sometimes listen to this Family radio at 94.7 FM in NYC and I really thought of calling him. I listen because I do not have other stations to listen to with Bible teachings, however, it does not mean I agree to Camping’s interpretations of the Bible but to laugh at some of his ideas in addressing some questions from his listeners. He even says about the Church (which most probably referring to our Church) to be led by Satan.

His prediction of the May 21 is I would opine, a strategy to gain more listeners so that more will call his station and gain more followings and funding.

Let us not forget, that any day will be the end, and we had been warned about this by our Lord. We are not supposed to listen to this **** just to be warned, we already are prepared.

Please I need to know if May 21st is really the final day or not. The following day is my wife’s birthday and I need to know if to buy a present or just tell her that I ordered one. 😃

If I get it wrong the 22nd will be my final day on Earth for sure. 😃

I don’t know if this is a new topic or not, or even in the right part of the forum. But today I saw RV’s full of protestant fundamentalist at the local wal-mart with banners on their RV’s that stated as such that. " World wide earth quake May 21, 2011 and rapture". After an intense hour of Google, I found out that the world is ending in just 4 months. But at least I’ll have time to finish my school semester. Has anyone seen heard or know anything about this statement that is made. The RV’s had banners that said family radio, and ebible somthing.com anyway just thought i 'd through this out here.

May 21st? That’s the day before my daughter graduates from H.S. I’ll have to tell her the party is cancelled.

No presents, no party. Just Rapture.

👍 Agree, even one better, how about admitting that he was duped by a false prophet 😉

I also hope SCPro is not a drive by poster and that he or she really will respond.

I like this idea too. Because other historical predictions regarding the end of the world saw a rash of suicides from followers after it didn’t come to pass, if nothing else, posting again would assure us that you are ok and still kicking.

Better yet, how about admitting that he was duped by a false prophet and begin RCIA classes.

Cool! Then I will call all my creditors and tell them: FORGET U! I am outta here! 👍

Woo! Good-bye student loan payments!!! :D;)
👍 I had to laugh! Well the way I see it, if people keep “guessing” on the Date, surely sooner or later… Someones bound to get “Lucky” on the date… Of course, this is only** “If”** they keep saying it’s Everyday of the Year…for how many years it may take, because we all know One Day/Night he surely is going to come back…

But meanwhile, I won’t put any salt to any date that someone is going to say is the end. Only God knows when that date is and surely no man/woman is going to ever know until that time comes.

We should however live as if everyday could be our last…

the guy who predicted this date is wrong…

I am pretty sure this is the date:

Elaine: According to my source, the end of the world will be on February 14th, in the year two thousand and sixteen.
Peter Venkman: Valentine’s day. Bummer. Where’d you get your date, Elaine?
Elaine: I received this information from an alien. As I told my husband, it was in the Paramus Holiday Inn, I was having a drink at the bar, alone, and this alien approached me. He started talking to me. He bought me a drink, and then I think he must have used some kind of a ray or a mind control device because he forced me to follow him to his room and that’s where he told me about the end of the world.
Peter Venkman: So your alien had a room at the Holiday Inn, Paramus?
Elaine: It could have been a room on the spaceship made to look like the hotel. I can’t be sure about that, Peter.

Its so obvious! Valentines Day, 2016! ;);)😉

Don’t try to call and disagree with him. He will interrupt you and say very kindly “But thank you for calling and sharing”, at which point you will be cut off. He does not discuss anything with people who disagree with or question him. His word is absolute.

proof that the doctrine of the rapture is false:
the use of raptured as an intransitive verb as in “Hope I get raptured in 5/12”
anybody that ignorant cannot be speaking with a shred of credibility.

And don’t forget your pets.

You’ve committed your life to Jesus. You know you’re saved. But when the Rapture comes what’s to become of your loving pets who are left behind? Eternal Earth-Bound Pets takes that burden off your mind.
We are a group of dedicated animal lovers, and atheists. Each
Eternal Earth-Bound Pet representative is a confirmed atheist, and as such will still be here on Earth after you’ve received your reward. Our network of animal activists are committed to step in when you step up to Jesus.
They can handle dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and small caged mammals as well as horses, camels, llamas and donkeys in some states.

This is 3 days off, for my birthday is 3 days later 5/24.

A situation like Japan’s Earthquake, tidal wave, and nuke problems would seem like the end of the world for them, so I think these things might be localized, and not effect the whole Earth at once.

So God is now a liar, is that what you have us believe??? That God chose Camping to Divinely reveal to him and him alone what he would not reveal to his own Son Christ Himself, the Angles, and the Apostles. When God said in Sacred Scripture in Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone”. That was just babble? Or do you not believe in the written Word of God? Just curious as to here you are coming from. 🤷
I don’t really wish to change the topic of this light-hearted discussion about a serious event; but I feel almost compelled to ask how, according to Christian theology, Jesus can NOT know the day and hour of his Second Coming, if He is supposed to be completely human AND completely divine? In a sense, doesn’t Jesus, who is regarded as G-d (albeit in the person of the Son of G-d) according to Christian (including Catholic) faith have to know what the Father knows? Is there really a LACK OF KNOWLEDGE on the part of Jesus according to Catholic teaching? I ask this question in all humility, being not of the Catholic and Christian faith.

Good question, Christ Himself says so in Mark 13:32 "But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father”. Emphasis mine.

Also as a side note Catholic is Christian. 🙂
