I’m not sure what you mean by that comment.
First of all, I’m not from any of McCarrick’s dioceses and my post was about US pension law generally. To my knowledge, all US dioceses would have some sort of a pension plan. Virtually every major employer in US has a pension plan, although some of them are not very good.
Second, the article I posted make it clear that a lot of laicized priests can end up financially in a very bad spot, especially if they are younger and don’t have resources, so they are not all like McCarrick. So they are not all well taken care of.
