Has any one seen this? I found it while on the internet for what happens if a non-Muslim enters Mecca. While it doesn’t deal directly what happens if a non-Muslim enters Mecca, it does give a frightening account of the barbarism that is prevalent in Saudi Arabia today . The executioner explains how he uses his sword to behead up to three people at a time.

What frightened me even more was how the Saudi anchors treated the executioner like a rock star. The executioner also explained how only a local anesthetic was used before limb amputations, that he would shoot women instead of behead them and also that he was training his children to continue in his profession.

It is true that Christians burned hundreds of thousands of people at the stake for witchcraft which was inexcusable, but I wasn’t aware of the fact that this type of barbarism went on today in a country which claims to be civilized by its leaders. I wonder how many Christian converts were beheaded by this man. I think the clip shows the man saying he killed people for practicing witchcraft. The sight I found it on said people were beheaded for things like witchcraft and changing religions.

That has to be one of the most gruesome, macabre interviews I have ever watched. It reminded me of those interviews they’ve done with serial killers, watching them describe dispassionately what they do to their victims. That was truly bizarre.

“When the heart is compassionate the hand fails.” That woman actually smiled when asking about the time his sword broke while excecuting three people… I am nauseous…

This just proves the adage that terrible religions make terrible people and terrible nations.

As God said through the Prophet Solomon, “All who hate Me love death.”

Think about it.

Actually no, the number is much lower. But the point is valid–we have committed atrocious things as well, but that doesn’t justify Muslim societies for continuing to commit them (we should give them credit for the fact that by and large they favor the relatively humane method of beheading and have done so historically).

I’m glad that America is so much more civilized. I mean beheading with a sword? Barbaric!

Civilized nations use poisoning, electrocution, hanging, or afiring squad.

You forgot gassing (if you’re talking about the USA, that is).

But I wouldn’t be to hasty in passing judgment on this, you only need to go back 100 years ago to find the Pope and most European countries beheading people for serious crimes. France was still using the guillotine until 1981 for instance.

100 years ago the Pope was St. Pius X. Please provide a list of the people that he beheaded along with their crimes and the copies of the official records of their executions. We’ll be waiting.

Sorry I’m a little off with the Popes. It was actually Pius IX in 1868 who had a couple of revolutionaries named Tognetti and Monti beheaded for some attempted bombings.

Attempted bombings? No… 27 people were killed, including four civilians and a mother and child.

Nice try though. Even if we accept your attempted point at face value the execution of two revolutionaries 139 years ago is a bit diffrent than murdering people for converting in 2007.

Nope. No Pope ever beheaded someone. Why do you lie about these claims against the Pope?

Hello all,

i dont see any problem with the man . The man is a state employee whose Job is to perform capital punishment.

capital punishment means death. The most humane punishment is the fastest deathand the least pain. not what looks nice on the surface!! With a sharp sword it would be more humane than bieng electrecuted for example. And definetly more humane than the firing squad. Barbarism is not on the outside , its how the victim suffer!

There are some things that doesnt appear in teh arabic talk in which you guys seem to think it was said. The man never said he executes several people at one stroke!! What is meant in his words is that some days he has several . seciond there is no reference whatsoever in teh talk about if a non muslim enters mecca.

third the man doesnt refer to his work as beheading , he uses the the arabic word ‘’ Hadd’’ which means punishment.

I still fail to see what is the difference between this man and an officer in the US who performs poinsoning.

Its his job, and if he is weak at it then he isnt doing his job. You have the right to judge a person if he commits a crime. The man didnt do ANY crime. he simply enacted the law of capital punishment. Exist in many parts of the world .

Hope that helps,

Meedo

My DH lived in Saudi for a few months and he said they get their heads cut off for being in Mecca. I guess the highway to mecca splits into two and ONLY muslims can be on the “Mecca” HWY.
Or they get beheaded. I can only guess people who go that way are never heard from again , otherwise human right activists would be all over it?

In the US, people don’t have their limbs amputated for stealing. So there is one obvious difference.

I’m not defending capital punishment in the United States. I believe that allowing for the possibility of one innocent person to be put to death is too much. And it is obvious that the jury system allows for many mistakes. But in the U.S, people are basically given a fare trial, unlike in Saudi Arabia where they are often tortured in to a forced into a confession.

According to Amnesty International

web.amnesty.org/library/Index/ENGMDE230022000?open&of=ENG-SAU
Amnesty International concludes that the criminal justice system leads to human rights violations that originate in and are sustained by the secrecy on which the whole system is premised — from arrest and detention to all the different stages of trial. It is a system that gives excessive powers to the arresting authorities and robs people who fall into its net of their human dignity and fundamental rights. It is a system that generates and perpetuates ill-treatment and torture and offers no opportunity for redress. It is also a system that discriminates, including against religious minorities, women, migrant workers and people accused of violating the country’s strict moral codes.
As a result, people face harsh treatment and arbitrary detention, particularly political and religious activists; torture is routine; flogging is regularly imposed; and over a thousand people have been executed and scores subjected to amputation of limbs in the past two decades
.

Doesn’t President Bush go around calling Islam “The religion of peace” ???

Hello all,

Here is the problem as I see it. He seems very busy and happy at his job.

If the problem is not yet clear: the man himself is almost insignificant; it is the ideology – not culture- that is the problem. The questioners could have been talking about making cakes for all the indifference they showed to abhorrent action by a nation state much less one under the supposed auspice of God.

It is mostly just sad that you believe in Mohamed who sanctified this law for you. More sad that you think it from God.

I agree the executioner is not guilty of a crime because of his work. The crime has been committed on him and every other Muslim because of their faith.

I am so happy to be a son of the Father of Love, mercy, and forgiveness.

The brutality and barbaric nature of the religion of Islam is nauseating. 😦 Even the name Islam evokes a brutish connotation. Some would try to explain the meaning of the word Islam is peace, in actuality it means “Submission”.

Beheading someone because a non-believer has the audacity to enter a “holy” city… This is giving me a visceral reaction in my stomach.

God, forgive them for they know not what they do.

Exactly! And it was not the Pope who had them executed. He didn’t want it to happen, but the mob demanded their execution.
