Holy Land, hands down. Yes, I know you didn’t mention it, but really. If anything first, Holy Land, if possible. My wife and I are in the beginning stages of planning a trip of a lifetime. We are trying to decide between Rome or Medjugorje. Would welcome (name removed by moderator)ut. Thank you
Yes - Although the Church permits pilgrims to visit Medj, I myself prefer to visit the sites of apparitions the Church has actually approved to some degree. There are so many approved apparition sites, there’s not much need to go to Medj.Welcome back! Medjugorje is not yet approved. Despite many who are attracted and/or devoted to it, we have no assurance that it is genuine.
Need, however, has not seemed to equate with desire. I do not disagree with your suggestions; I simply do not have a dog in the fight. If I was to go do something (and that seems more and more unlikely) I would do Compestelle (or Compostela).there’s not much need to go to Medj.
