Pfffff…Absolutely no proof, and what are you all going to do if at the end of all this there’s nothing there…say Mueller was compromised. Ha!
 
In that case, abortions were more often than not covered by insurance before the ACA. Very few agents would tell you this because few asked. During the final stage the ACA was prohibited from covering abortions. A plus IMO.

If a full repeal of ACA comes, what’s there to stop insurance companies from coverage under a free market system?

What about it? Where in the catechism does it say we must support a Justice appointed by a Republican?

In the 60 years I’ve been in this country I have yet to be excited about any SC pick. It’s not going to start now.

Nothing. Nothing at all.

My insurance plan, which I have through my employer, covers abortion up until the last moment the law permits.

And yet I don’t hear any of our conservative posters insisting that I’m obligated to refuse to participate in my firm’s health insurance plan (under which I insure my wife and children).

Go figure.

The difference is when the government FORCES people to buy a product, and then FORCES the product to be sinful.
 
I didn’t see or hear people complaining when faced with an emergency or needed surgery, they were allowed instant coverage by the ACA.

A funeral he was not only not invited to, but was dis invited to. That’s a big difference.

At the eulogy I heard people say one of McCain’s strong points is he could forgive and forget with those he battled with. The question I have then, was John the one who dis invited Trump when John knew he was going to die, or was it the family’s decision? Either way, given all the people at the funeral, and all the political wars that were there, it wasn’t a good message IMV to send the sitting president that he is not welcome at the funeral.

So the problem with the ACA isn’t that it covers abortion (although to a lesser extent than some private-sector policies), it’s that it’s partially funded from tax revenues?
 
Never said that.

The ACA is full of problems, just like any other healthcare plan anyone could create.

The issue discussed above was how the government, through the ACA, FORCED employers to offer sinful plans, and FORCED people to buy them.

Still mad at her? Don’t be… it’s a waste of time to argue about it. It’s her right to say her piece just as it’s your right to be outraged by her. Just move on & you’ll feel better instead of fighting about it.

I’m referring to the HHS contraception mandate, which attempted to force all employers to pay for contraceptives regardless of conscience objections.
 
Trump had about a year from when McCain announced his cancer diagnosis, to when he died.

He could have made amends, he didn’t need to mention him negatively at rallies or in tweets.

I personally wouldn’t have wanted anyone st my father’s funeral who had treated him obnoxiously.
 
I don’t remember Trump negatively mentioning McCain after the cancer diagnosis. Everyone suspected what the
outcome would be.

Actually, allowed plans paid for coverage; only if a person covered opted to use covered contraceptives and made claims, did an employer “pay for” contraceptives. By the same token, in the absence of an insurance plan, employers could be paying wages that employees use to but contraceptives. The latter case might be not be considered cooperation at all, or if so, very remote. But n the former, the material cooperation is also remote.

Is trump picking them because they are republicans or because they are religious conservatives?

Do we want judges who believe as we do or judges who don’t believe in our religious rights?

Do we want pro choice or pro life judges? It does matter
 
Or do we want judges and executors who will uphold the laws in a non-political way and let the legislators create the laws?
