And the stock market hardly budged today. So another nothingburger idea.
Seems likely. I don’t know what Frazier’s motivation was, but I think if I were a betting man, I would lay odds those other members at least have been getting business pressure to quit, sort of like the stores that dropped Ivanka. And they would be very responsive to things like boycott threats, calls from bankers “worried” about their security, etc. Soros could organize something like that in two days, no problem.

Somehow I sense Bezos is more of a threat to him.

Instead of just making remarks like this, point out actual instances in which Trump has treated blacks worse than whites in his actual actions.
I do not know if Trump is an actual racist. But I do know that he wants the support of racists, white supremacists, nazi’s, and nationalists. You have to twist his arm to get him to denounce them, and even then, he has to make sure everyone knows that the people protesting those groups were equally bad. They’re not.

Maybe he’s not a racist. Does it really matter anymore? At this point us learning he’s a racist wouldn’t actually change much. He’s an embarrassment and I cannot fathom how anyone can continue to support him in any capacity. The last couple of days have proven he’s unfit. All the mental gymnastics in the world can’t twist that into anything else.

No doubt they put him over the top in at least four states.

So you admit you don’t know whether Trump is a racist. Good. That’s a start.

But neither do you know he “wants” the support of racists, white supremacists or Nazis. He probably does want the support of nationalists, and pretty much proves that by his words and actions. His very “make America great again” line is nationalist to the core.

He may be an “embarrassment” to you, and you’re entitled to your emotions, but your emotional reaction to him does not determine whether I ought to support him or not or whether he’s “unfit”.

Sure I do. How? Common sense. His actions. His own words.

Look, if you want to support the guy, more power to you. Personally, I’d question why it is I’m finding myself needing to defend his actions on a pretty regular basis and do mental gymnastics to twist his words and actions into something that would justify my support of him and not make me regret my vote.

This is not all the media’s fault. This is not the lefts fault. This is not bitter Hillary supporters trying to fan the flames. This is all Trump. He needs to be monitored like a high school drop out who just discovered birth control. The country deserves better than that.

Maybe we can’t know what Trump “really wants” or whether Trump really is a racist. But what we do know is that the mass resignations from his manufacturing council show that a good number of American business leaders are embarrassed to be associated with him. For good or ill, deserved or not, Trump is losing support at every turn.

When his company discriminated against black tenants and was the subject of a Department of Justice housing discrimination lawsuit.

There’s always going to be blind partisan defense or lack thereof. A lot of anti-war folks on the left dropped criticism of Obama over Libya for fear of being called racist, not by Obama by other minorities and liberals.

As for Trump, he’s attacked by the entire global elite, so he needs to be defended more. I would say though not everything he does is good. Some of his base seem to think so, but he’s not perfect and may not even be a conservative at heart, but so far, we conservatives have little to complain about on principle. Interestingly enough, for us Congress has been the biggest problem. Now, that was not expected.

See, I was a Cruz guy, and I knew what we could be getting with Trump. I voted for him as the alternative to Clinton. I really didn’t care about America First or MAGA. It’s nice, and I don’t think its nationalism but patriotism, though I guess some see it differently.

…NO. The media, the left, academia and yes even the bitter Hillary supporters are part of the problem. Especially for those who argued Lewinsky was a distraction that ultimately helped 9-11 get planned. They can’t have it both ways.

That’s actually funny. 😃

But so what if he doesn’t know all of the ropes or the forked-tongue to say half-truths?

That’s why he was voted into office.

If the shoe fits…
Again, no.

Funny how Trump wasn’t a racist…until he ran against the Democrats.

Really, Finite, the word has lost all meaning. So has Nazi, so has white supremacist.

The left blew this big time…and they were warned. Now if someone who really is a racist comes along…no one’s believing them outside their SJW fanatical base.

Do you mean disbanding the committees before everyone on them publicly quit or do you mean putting together committees in the first place?

I suppose it doesn’t matter. Trump knows everything there is to know about everything that has to do with making money, so it’s not as if he needs advice from anyone from Intel, Merck, Under Armour, the AFL-CIO or any of the rest. He has it all covered.

I don’t know if it’s advice he needed as much as he would probably have liked to micromanage the entire economy.

Then he should have stayed a Democrat.
Sorry, I forget, you’re not American and didn’t get the reference.

My point is that no one called Trump a racist when he was a Democrat. But when he ran against the Democrats, he was called a racist just for running against them.

Dual citizen actually.

That and bringing up birtherism which Clinton started. So you may have a point.

People have been calling Trump racist for at least 45 years at this point. His family has been called racist for their eugenics views for longer. We can only speculate what side Trump’s father was on when he was arrested after a KKK-police altercation in NYC in the '20s because of poor record-keeping, but he wasn’t police.

Because he wasn’t a candidate or – God forgive us - POTUS.

He was a racist before. But there are many private citizens who are racists. When the President of our country is a racist, it is a national shame.

ETA: but it is nice to see you admit that he is a racist.
