Maybe the more knowledgable people amongst us can make a judgment. Would it be proper to go to confession because you thought the world was coming to an end rather than an ordinary and normal desire to do so based in good Catholic teaching. I doubt that it’s sinful to go to confession under any circumstances, but a little untoward to do it because of this nefarious May 21 stuff when you wouldn’t have gone otherwise. I’m prepared to be corrected.

I wonder … if one who also has difficulty with scruples, might feel even more compelled? Then again, for me I often feel like I should just stay inside the church … all the time. Predictions or no. :rolleyes:

That being said, I look forward to Saturday. At 5pm, my daughter and I will be celebrating mass. ❤️
 
Out of curiosity do you hope it happens?
Like let say you get to go heaven and what not, wouldn’t you be happy it happes?
I don’t know why people who believe it are scared, I actually don’t believe it but still wishes it would happen. I would be happy to go to heaven, not just me but other people.
 
Actually, if we base it on what those people are saying, none of us will be raptured because we don’t believe in the rapture.
Personally, I’m thinking of offering them free literacy lessons on May 22nd since they can’t seem to figure out how to read verses in context… 😃 (my curiosity got the best of me and I looked at their website :o )

The thought has crossed my mind, but I try and put it out ASAP. As Paul says, we wait in joyful hope. I think though that wishing it is a bit too far. I pray that I’m as ready as I think I am on the day whether it’s this Saturday, next Saturday, later today or in 2343.
 
Well look at that. The world hasn’t ended. I wonder what he’ll say this time?

Disappointed I’m still here. Is there another answer besides that? Together we will have to continue to toil another day in this valley of tears.

Not in the slightest.

I believe in the Word of God which tells us that no one knows the time.

Also the “Rapture” is a man made thing that was created very recently in the history of Christianity and was done so by a personal misinterpretation of Scripture. In reality the “Rapture” is not Biblical.
