First of all, I am relatively new to this board.

There are two which come to mind:" Prostestants, Are They Christian?" and “Do Protestants Go To Hell?” I will bump them up.

Sir Knight:
Can you forward those PMs to me? I have a plan for what to do with them. By the way, your friend Mary has done an EXCELLENT job. If she ins’t a member here, please invite her to join. She is definitely an asset when it comes to this type of stuff.
I would like to see those PMs too. Sir Knight, can you PM me your plan? Mary has an excellent mind and is of temperate and kind manner. I quoted her distinction between works of faith and works of law on the Silver Bullet thread on this board. You might find that discussion interesting. Well, interesting doesn’t quite describe the experience. Rollercoaster ride is closer.

Lily of the Valley: welcome. Have some tea:

Lisa, there were some Catholics on the “Are Protestants Christian?” thread who voted plain “no” and then those who voted, “no, but I keep that to myself for the sake eucenism sp
So while not all Catholics believe that way there were a handful who are every bit as nasty as those folks on that other board.

Hello, Lily:) I saw that, and I don’t like that either:mad: I posted on that board and it seems most of those folks were having a fit because a recent insurgence of really ugly posters. One was kind enough to damn us all to hell:eek: I think the poll was to vent but it did not just make a point to the attackers who were acting quite unChristian,it hurt people that had nothing to do with it.It was a fit about injustice that went to far:nope: It generalised because of some rotton apples:( Shouldn’t have happened.God Bless

Sir Knight,
Mary is unable to access those messages because she was banned from the board and is denied access everytime she tries to log in and access her account, very typical of trying to stop someone from speaking the truth, she was private messaged by whoever runs the site and asked not to post anymore, etc.
She said she is going to take a break for a little while from message boards, she is just emotionally worn out!!
Peace everyone.

Certainly take issue with those Catholics as individuals. The Church’s position, however, is to recognize baptism conferred by other Christian churches. We have our fair share of rebels who speak from the folly of their own pride rather than from the peace and reassurance of the Magisterium. You may notice that those speaking from a so-called ‘traditional’ Catholic perspective are often given a sound telling off by Catholics respecting the authoritative teaching of the Church. Some ‘traditionalists’ subscribe to the No Salvation Outside the Church theory or EENS. The poster EENS, for instance, is one of these traditionalists, I think. They presume to think that Vatican II is a departure from Catholic teaching. :ehh:

Well there you go. Rabid hatred in action. I keep on saying to people that they should let their Cardinals know and let their elected representatives know. Well, then, perhaps we should speak to our moderators and ask them to post an alert about the website in question. Shake the dust, I say.

Why don’t people push their complaint buttons in these parts?

Church Militant:
I ain’t 'fraid of no Prots 😃
Look just don’t let 'em see ya sweat. Their lack of honest scholarship and knowlege of the faith works FOR us and AGAINST them.

Get the San Juan Catholic Seminars books and study 'em with a pencil and highlighter in hand and you’ll have MOST of the answers that you need…the rest will come from the tracts and home page here. Those articles in back issues of THIS ROCK (Which does indeed ROCK!) and the tracts here are killer full of great info that speaks to most of the issues these clowns wanna talk smack about.
The guys on here are just the same…ignorant…biased… and hardheaded and hardhearted as well.

see you all there I hope!!

Lots of anti-Catholic rhetoric at “The Christian Defense” forums.

Here’s the link

I joined the group as “Deus Vult” and am engaged in a couple of discussions. Keep up the good fight Kamz and others.

Sorry I didn’t reply sooner. We had an ice storm in my neck of the woods and I was without power for the past 26 hours.

If Mary was banned from that site, then that needs to be publicly stated. It also needs to be said that by banning someone who did not appear to break any rules but instead was doing an excellent job of clarifying the position of the Catholic faith, they have demonstrated that they are not interested in getting at the truth but only in making sure that “their side” wins the arguements. “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, as ye go forth out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in judgment-day than for that city.” – Matthew 10:14-15.

… I’m heading on over there now – likely to get myself banned as well.

PS: If Mary isn’t a member here, please invite her to join and let us know what handle she picked. I was TRULY impressed with her knowledge of the faith and the way that she was able to present it.

Here’s my post
It has come to our attention that “Mary”, a new member who was doing an excellent job in explaining the Catholic position was banned from this board and told not to return. This clearly demonstrates that the members here are not really interested in arriving at the truth but only interested in winning “your side” of the arguement. So be it.
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, as ye go forth out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in judgment-day than for that city.” – Matthew 10:14-15.
… Check it out and comment while it is still there because I’m pretty sure that it will either be locked or deleted once an administrator shows up.

She was asked to leave in private messages from several members one named Reformed Heart and some others I don’t remember but they told her to prove herself or not even bother but I figured these people would lie, she was unable to log back in, and she tried over and over typing in her name and pass word over and over and it never worked now I went on and was able to log right in, I did not post as I just don’t have the heart for it anymore but they are not telling the truth but did you think they would? They are not going to listen to us, they won’t come over here, oh, gosh no, they refuse to do that, I think, has anyone asked them? Anyhow I think they will refuse.

but thanks for all you’ve done Sir knight.

I should have I tired to make peace on there, probably because I had seen some of the recent posters and their ugliness,I felt like the Catholics had just had enough, and I jumped on to tell people what had been going on recently and I guess I made excuses:nope: I really do not think is was their intent to go after all protestants,I highly suspect it was to irritate the aggressors, but it certainly backfired.God Bless

I have been reading posts here at CA for a few months now and have learned a lot. I think that you need to remember that people are reading your posts both here and at non-catholic sites and that your insightful and truthful explinations of our faith are planting seeds. You don’t know how many lives you effect just because you do not see the fruits of your labor.

where is spell check on this thing???http://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon7.gif
