I did write the bishop, and so should you. You are obviously very impassionate about this. With your logic, a group called the Miami Men’s Pedophile Chorus or the Miami Masterbators Choir should also be able to perform on Church property. We need to reach out to gay people (and pedophiles, masterbators, etc.) with love but let’s not allow this secular Catholic-phobic society make our Catholicism tepid and confuse young Catholics. That’s exactly what Satan wants. Jesus even said how He wished we were either hot or cold. Too many Catholics are sitting back these days, and unless we speak up and take action…

I’m actually not that fired up about this subject. I hear what you’re saying and I don’t personally approve of the decision to have a gay choir perform in a Catholic Church. I am reserving my conclusion because I was not privy to what went into the decision to allow them to perform. Maybe, there was something in the Church’s bulletin that said provided the Church’s position on homosexuality. I have no idea.

I was honestly just providing the citations from the CCC as you requested. If you get a response from the bishop, please share it, I’d love to hear his response.

Actually it is a mix of teenage boys and grown men from the Miami Gay Men’s Chorus and some local metrosexuals and bisexuals. It’s all one big love-in on stage and they really sound great in a cathedral.:rolleyes:
