…* get the distinction…but why was Rose’s gambling unforgivable? My theory? If you cost these sports organizations MONEY, then they don’t want to have anything to do with you. ** *
Yes. The NFL is a for-profit industry. They are in the business to make money, not to lose it. Then you add that for some owners/managers they have such big ego that they make decisions just to try and show who is boss or has the biggest set of brass bookends. The value of ethics with them is a tertiary priority, although they do give a nod to it.

I think people tend to have more sympathy for dogs is because they are so helpless and innocent. They have no control over who’s hands they are in. Same with children. Adult women can call 911, leave the guy, and choose who they date. I was disgusted when Rihanna took Chris Brown back initially. There is no way those tortured dogs would’ve returned to Vick if given the choice.

As I said, look at the Eagles pre-season which is absolutely the worst. Now all they are talking about is if, when, where and how they will maybe put Vic in. Vic will make no positive difference to the Eagles. Vic was in the joint for 18 months and played house with other criminals. He is a money making joke and will continue to be one. It is turning into a circus, which Jeff Laurie wanted all along. Laurie is first and foremost a businessman and if vic where convicted of slapping a girlfriend and putting her into the hospital, they would minimize this too, because a business needs money. That’s it folks only capitalism is at the top of the list and we go along with it. It really doesn’t matter what the person does, if he can make money being put back in, he is in. Going to hell in a handbasket couldn’t look much better.
