Loving God,

We lift up our intentions today in support of your daughter Midge who is suffering with various medical problems, illnesses, and is also very lonely. Lord, we ask for your mercy and strength for Midge, that you might grant her healing or at least the ability to regain mobility, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. We also ask for your loving kindness to be expressed to Midge on a daily basis through visitors, the staff where she lives, and through those you send into her life to minister to her. Please grant Midge strong faith, courage, and send compassionate people to spend time with her in these days, dear Lord.

Dear Lord, we also thank you for the kindness and love our friend sidhe54 shows to your people in need, and please keep her strong and confident in her ministry.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

  • Dear CAF Family,
    Sorry I haven’t been able to update you sooner. Midge was in the hospital for Immune system problem . She was readmitted to nursing home on Friday (yesterday). She is a mess (her words) with blisters, some of which have opened and is on heavy-duty antibiotics at present. She did not mention kidney problem and I did not want to press her for information. She doesn’t feel well enough for visitors at this time but welcomed the phone call. Will update again asap. She (& I) thank you all for the kindness you show to her every day with your thoughts and prayers - God Bless you all!!!

    I am so sorry I haven’t been able to update you all about Midge. I was able to spend a few hours with her today. She is having problems breathing ,taking nebulizer treatments fairly freqently and is on oxygen. She does not want to go to hospital.She has blisters all over her body, even in her ears and one in her mouth. She is unwavering in her belief in God’s plan for her and is ready to meet Him whenever He chooses to call her home. Amidst all this her attitude is generally positive and she thanks you all for your prayers.The Hospice nurse comes to see her 1-2 times/wk, a minister also and a young lady comes & plays guitar for her. Thank you all for your prayers and I will do my best to update in a more timely fashion. God bless you all!!!
