Hello - I’m not a catholic but am hoping for some information regarding your faith. Mindfulness, in Buddhism, is the practice of paying close attention to ones thoughts, feelings and somatic experiences, in the moment. In Judaism a similar practice is that of “D’vekut,” which is usually translated as “clinging” or “cleaving” to God at all times; it’s always having God in ones mind. Finally, the question. In Catholicism (or Christianity generally for that matter) is there any similar or equivalent practice?

Thank you in advance for any help with this.

Marco.

“Presence of mind” == “pray always” == seek and attend always to the whole, the All, the “Holy”, God.

The practice of Faith; believing, and relying totally on the Lord. The practice of Faith and reliance is a constant work, a doing, if I may. There has to be a focus because the mind wanders, the practice of Faith is that focus for me. And through this I have grown in my relationship with Jesus.
