Hello - I’m not a catholic but am hoping for some information regarding your faith. Mindfulness, in Buddhism, is the practice of paying close attention to ones thoughts, feelings and somatic experiences, in the moment. In Judaism a similar practice is that of “D’vekut,” which is usually translated as “clinging” or “cleaving” to God at all times; it’s always having God in ones mind. Finally, the question. In Catholicism (or Christianity generally for that matter) is there any similar or equivalent practice?
Thank you in advance for any help with this.
Marco.
