Priest Denies Rumors of Failed Cure
PARIS, MARCH 11, 2010 (Zenit.org).- The cure of a French nun, which is being studied as a possible miracle through the intercession of John Paul II, has not been reversed, contrary to media reports.
This was affirmed in a communiqué signed by Father Luc Marie Lalanne, chancellor of the archbishop of Aix-Arles, France, which was published Wednesday on the Web site of the French bishops’ conference.
Some media reports claimed that the nun, Sister Marie Simon Pierre, who was cured from Parkinson’s disease, is ill again. In this way they assert that the “cure” is false.
