States can limit or even prohibit partial birth abortions. See Carhart vs. Gonzales.

What is not noted in these articles is that access to over the counter, medical abortions has become widespread. Yes, medical abortion numbers go down because you can get Plan B at Walgreens without a perscription or RU486 easily.

Pro-Lifers care about the baby, they care about the mother. If one doesn’t include both, one might seriously wonder if they are pro-life and their arguments are really, an insult to one’s intelligence and morality.

It certainly doesn’t seem pro-life where one’s almost singular argument is always trying to find something in a bill, and then, basically thumb your nose at others and say “it doesn’t work”, it seems extremely callous and unkind to tell others.

When one disses incrementalism, remember, babies have been saved by sidewalk counselors or persuaded by pro-life information, this would be incrementalism, so it is rather cruel to say that baby’s life, who was saved by those talking a woman out of an abortion is worth nothing. That’s incrementalism unless, one actually has blinders to any other aspect of this debate.

While again, not addressing other things, what about all of the clinics closed? What about states defunding planned parenthood? If one claims to be pro-life but seems unable to address anything else, except have their same canned speech repeated, I certainly question their concept of being pro-life. Same thing, with pointing out the faults of clergy involved in the struggle. It all seems extremely unkind, uncharitable and un-Christian.
