Wonderfully said!I agree that we should pity sinners and cast our sins before our eyes at all times. I think the difference in our vocal attitude comes when the sinners are not the least repentent and present themselves as the one slighted instead of the perpatrator. I think most people take pity on repentant people who show true sorrow for the pain they have caused others and try to make ammends. However, some people draw disdain unto themselves by flaunting their sins and blaming others. Like the guy who breaks into a house and sues the homeowner for cutting himself on the homeowners window he was breaking into.

To make the circle, I think this is probably why Dr. Phil gave the mistress no quarter. She will never get anywhere feeling sorry for herself. She was victimized (in a limited sense), but only because she agreed to believe the rules didn’t apply to her. It is not as if she unknowingly married a bigamist. Until she gets that through her head, sympathy is just going to keep her from putting her life back together.I agree that we should pity sinners and cast our sins before our eyes at all times.
