Ah, but it is hardly a direct relationship. I see you make no mention of the speculation that goes on every time a sneeze is heard in oil producing regions.Increasing supply reduces cost.

But when a spill happens, it devastating to the environment and the people and businesses impacted by it.Spill was rare disaster, the jones act worked to lower gas prices and it can do again
Obama did not waiver the act which meant foreign ships could not help in the clean up
What does this have to do with gas prices? Do you think oil should not be drilled? But when a spill happens, it devastating to the environment and the people and businesses impacted by it.

I like Bork and I think that this is a very smart move on Romney’s part. Conservatives really like Robert Bork and know what was done to him at the hands of Ted Kennedy et al.
I agree. I believe that those who support Obama are so hardened that even if Obama came out and said he is the Antichrist they would still support him, maybe even more since many of his supporters are militant atheists or are otherwise hostile toward traditional Christian doctrines and values.I think the hardened OBama voters will always vote for Obama. The right, however has been lukewarm - and this choice will help Romney get even more of their support. The muddled middle probably doesn’t even know much about Bork and his views. They will vote on the economy.

Are you serious? What does this have to do with gas prices? Do you think oil should not be drilled?

I dunno… I think it is common for presidential campaigns (and non-profit organizations) to include several big names on advisory committees. Its a way of attracting attention and winning the acceptance of persons who are impressed by the inclusion of those public figures.I like Robert Bork, and read his book years ago.
However, I never head of a presidential candidate choosing a Chairman of Justice Advisory Committee.
Is this a good political move at this early stage of the game?
I doubt the general public will even notice that there is such a committee.I doubt the general public will even notice Bork’s inclusion on this committee.
It’s curious to me, I have yet to see anything regarding Bork on any site other than the one given…which has some issues with accuracy. I’m not saying it isn’t true…but…it just isn’t out there.I doubt the general public will even notice that there is such a committee.

Googling finds it’s out there. I found it on newsmax, dailybeast, NY Times, Washington Post, even Huffington (but it was burried in the story at HP). It just isn’t getting much traction. It’s curious to me, I have yet to see anything regarding Bork on any site other than the one given…which has some issues with accuracy.
