I just thought that I should ask if you have spoken to the pastor about the dress. When we got married, not that long ago, no strapless gowns or spaghetti straps were allowed for a nuptial Mass. This applied to all members of the bridal party (bride, bridesmaids, mothers) though they couldn’t really stop the guests.

Since you are 8 months pre-wedding, I didn’t know if you had gotten that far with the talks at Church. Not all pastors feel the same but this was a pretty liberal parish. It would be a shame to have to make a switch or alteraltion closer to the date.

Interesting, thank you. But I am quite certain this is not the case. They had a ton of dos and don’ts listed, and dress code was not in there. Probably should be though…

Pretty dress!

I agree with hot rollers and hair spray! I have my moms old hot rollers and I usually have a really hard time keeping a curl… I also have a hair spray that is a “style freezing” one That can make it crispy if I am not careful though, I think it is Salon Selectives.
