i think you know me better by now Amy, i do not throw words for the fun of it. I cannot by any means defend Muhammad’s marriage to Zainab or teaching about beating women, but i do not keep attacking his marriage to Aisha; if it was a common bedouin culture, so be it, but i attack him being the example to humanity, because other humans were traumatized because of his example and this is a fact. I believe my arguments are rather fair. Don’t know what argument you find bizarre, maybe Allah’s oath? what is bizarre is Allah’s oath by horses and their hooves, not my post.
Paul was talking about **disciples of Jesus **
who were preaching a message different than his. can you prove this?

i’ll give you a hint, Paul had a problem with the Judaizers , as did the rest of the apostles because if your theory is true, how come Peter and the rest considered him one of them?

How come Muhammad quoted his words? how come your tafasir list him as an apostle? seems your theory was totally alien to the earliest scholars of Islam.

we repeat it just as Muhammad repeated it, saying Jesus is the Word of God yet in the Arian sense. Had Muhammad understood that the title Son refers to the Word of God, he wouldn’t have ignorantly linked it to women and sex, and he wouldn’t have repeated the title Son using it’s meaning “Word”. The Word of Allah having no biological father is another thing to ponder upon.

One of the things Muslims rely on as a proof that the Quran’s knowledge is revealed is the “scientific” knowledge that the earth is egg-shaped. Does Sister Amy know that pre-Islamic poetry (sorry forgot the poet’s name) used the same word “dahaha” to talk about the earth? no she doesn’t but knowing how she thinks, i can expect the answer that the poet was inspired 😛

Written on his soul? I really don’t know where you’re getting this. How can something be written on a person’s soul? Where did you ever hear of that?

The Qur’an was revealed (“sent down”) to Muhammad over a period of 23 years–he recited it to his companions who memorized it and recited it, and so on. Many of his companions had memorized the entire thing, and since many of them could write (unlike Muhammad, who was illiterate), they also wrote down some parts of it. Within two years after Muhammad’s death, these companions decided to collect the Qur’an into a single written volume. They had the whole thing memorized, and knew its order, the final step was just collecting it into a single volume. And done a mere two years after Muhammad’s death. (Unlike some other “scriptures,” I might add.)

Might as well be correct, or would you like me to let you continue making mistakes?

First of all, you need to get over this issue of God having a son. It’s so offensive to the glory of God, I can’t imagine how you can repeat it so arrogantly. God never said he had a son, not in all the years he was sending prophets to Israel. Glaring omission? Or total fabrication made up later on? If God had a son, perhaps people might have known about it ever since God started sending prophets and messengers. But nope, nobody knew about, because it’s completely incomprehensible. So you can whine about the Qur’anic refutation of your lovely suffering servant story all you like, but even the premise doesn’t make sense.

One of the strongest passages in the Qur’an which convinced me that it was from God was a passage about Jesus, the one refuting the idea that Jesus was the son of God. Once I thought about it, I realized the whole notion never made any sense to begin with.
Like i always tell my muslim friends who argue about the power and glory of god- is your allah so weak that he does not have power to become man? is your allah so confused that he cannot remember the OT inspired passages proclaiming the coming of the messiah, the son, the child, mighty god. Is your allah so powerless that he could not stop mere humans from corrupting the OT and NT, as Muslims claim? Is your allah so inglorious that the only glory he can imagine is a submissive kingdom of muslims on earth? Is he so without reason? Is his mercy and compassion which Muslims proclaim, so limited that adulterers have to be stoned, thieves have to have their hands cut off?

Sister Amy, you are lost in a muslim web of self-delusion. What you cannot explain you fall back on what Muhammad said as if he was god. You do not understand Christianity. Like the Jews of Jesus’ time, you expect God to fit your comprehension of him. You want Thor, or Odin, tyrannical power and unquestioning obedience. Muslims must be surprised that God can actually love us so much that he came down in order to take us back up.

You already know the biblical Jesus Christ. He stands in stark contrast to what Muhammad would have Muslims believe. Either Jesus was lying in the NT or Muhammad was lying all over the quran. Would the Muslim Messiah lie? think about it. And think about the paraphased quote below from John.

“I am the truth the Way and the life. No one goes to the father but through me.”

and from Matthew

“He who rejects me, on the last days i will reject you”.

that is from the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Mighty God, Emmanuel.

I pray for you that you may open your mind and cease gambling with your eternal salvation. Being intelligent you are in a position where you cannot say “I never knew you Lord or I would have followed”. as can the righteous pagans.

Eucharisted–I would have expected more from you.

This is a very common hadith, narrated by no less than 7 Companions through various chains. If you simply go to another narrator, you will find an actual description of the Angel Gabriel–those Companions saw him. The Prophet Muhammad (saws) wasn’t sitting there talking to air, he was talking to the angel Gabriel who appeared in the form of a man.

And all of those Companions saw the man. Otherwise, how would they know what the angel was asking?

I mean, really–didn’t you do your research before this post?
The Emporer had no clothes, eh?

Well - this hadith makes no sense to me - I am the logic seeker…
Let me show you why.

A narration attributed to Abu Hurairah reports:

“ One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, “What is faith?” Allah’s Apostle replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection." Then he further asked, “What is Islam?” Allah’s Apostle replied, “To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan.” Then he further asked, “What is Ihsan (perfection)?” Allah’s Apostle replied, “To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you.” Then he further asked, “When will the Hour be established?” Allah’s Apostle replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents.
When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master.
When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah.
The Prophet then recited: “Verily, with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour–.” (31. 34) Then that man (Gabriel) left and the Prophet asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him. Then the Prophet said, “That was Gabriel who came to teach the people their religion.” Abu 'Abdullah said: He (the Prophet) considered all that as a part of faith. Sahih al-Bukhari 1:2:47

IF Gabriel came to teach - them why was Muhammad doing all the teaching?

How did Muhammad - without being taught - know the answers?

I asked this before - without any answers.

IS God that transparent that a man who claims to have no knowledge of writing, knew about Heaven and secrets that humanity cannot know?

Sorry to say - but that is impossible unless you were prophecied since the beginning of time and you came and fulfilled 300 prophecies and You were Divine to begin with.

Did Muhammad do that?
No.

Did Jesus? - Yes!

Muhammad denied that Jesus is the Son of God, so we know that he was the Antichrist, He denied the Death and resurrection of Christ, he denied the Holy Trinity, all these are essential Christian doctrines.
Come on Muslims, answer us Christians.😃
👍 Nice post.Carry on buddy.

So wouldn’t it make sense that Mohammed heard God in the only language he spoke?

lol, I was just trying to work out why I see some Muslims here saying that only Arabic is the true language, as that is what Mohammed heard

That doesn’t make English any less valid

If God spoke to me today it would be in English, it would be whatever language I spoke at the time

23 years and you became a believer? Jesus had been foretold in the OT centuries before it actually happened! a child born to a virgin, whose name was emmanuel, the one who’ll save mankind. many prophesies foretold about Jesus not by one prophet but several:thumbsup: . and mohammad? who could validate the revelation he received came from allah? could it be from the devil who is a great deceiver? 600 a.d. when OT and NT were already accessible? and easy to “cut and paste” sorry, but no way you can convince me.

you blaspheme our God and you’re in a Catholic forum 😃 you’re abusing our hospitality. do you think we can do what you do here in this forum in saudi arabia?

Keep trying to explain it away. Shaytaan will give you excuse after excuse. But if you wish to ask for guidance, you can always change paths.
Please quote the “correct” Hadiths according to you then.

The word for reveal is more accurately rendered as “sent down.” There is nothing there about anything being engraved on one’s heart, of course. Figures.
What do you mean my “sent down”? Does it mean there was a “physical things” that was given from God to human?

inJESUS;4799668:
Of course Shaytan
will contradict God’s words… convincing Christians to love Jesus so much that they worship him… indeed, a most grievous sin he has directed them towards. You see, sometimes Shaytan will try to make the person think he is actually getting closer to God by committing that sin. So was the people of Nuh… the people think they are doing something righteous and in fact they are doing something abominable.

Muhammad didn’t preach a new message–**only the same one. Worship the one true God, and Him alone. **

Wow, a Muslim denying that Jihadist verses is not from Muhammad, i.e, from God. 👍 👍 👍
