Monastery moving?

Well at least they haven’t moved to Australia. 🙂

For anyone who isn’t familiar with the HRM monks some of my favorite “reference” materials are the wonderful interviews Catherine Alexander, Forum member, did some years back at YourWordFromTheWise: “Eastern Catholic Theology” Part 1 and Part 2 with Father Abbot Nicholas, “Who are Eastern Catholics?” Part 1 and Part 2 with Father Maximos, “Feasting in the Byzantine Church Year” Part 1 and Part 2 with Father Moses, and “Fasting in the Byzantine Church Year” Part 1 and Part 2 with Father Moses.

As well, is what I think is an hilarious cooking lesson with the intrepid Abbot Nicholas and Father Moses. CIA grad in podryasnik. 🙂 I have yet to make these dishes but I love the lesson. Much better than the Food Network!

Fr Moses was a professional chef before entering the monastery and does know his way around a kitchen!👍

Maybe at the new location they can continue the cooking series.😃

If I feel ambitious, I should try this recipe myself.
 
The monks tell me there will be an announcement on the web site today or tomorrow.
