Religions aside the behaviour your describing is appallingWell I served as a Missionary… I was spit on, had beer bottles thrown at me, called words starting with “F” and ending with “aggot” and given the finger many different times. Too bad that I don’t have photos of that “allegedly” happening to me because that would make a great court case. I don’t know what denomination they were, but does it matter?
… we all have something in common. Our Love for Christ. Different beliefs, but same Brother… Ya, that sure is turning the other cheek, much like the time I turned the other cheek to wipe it off because it was covered in plegm from the nice (probably) Church going man that decided he’d had enough of me walking on the sidewalk in my shirt, tie and black nametag with our Lord’s name on it…
We had an actress here well into her 70’s who played a busybody in a long running soap. This show was loved so much people sent flowers and cards for characters birthdays, and funerals. This elderly lady got to the stage where she couldnt walk down the street for people shouting abuse at her and spitting on her. Unable to separate the fact that she was playing a role and that she was not the person they saw on tele.
And I doubt he was a “church going man” he certainly wasn’t “nice”.
And whyme do you honestly think no one would care about this posts treatment because he isn’t catholic
