I have both a tunnel and an overpass that I can use to avoid traffic.
Be wary as tunnels are dark as terrible things can be found lurking in the darkness. As to the overpass, given that the expanse between what Catholic and LDS this would be a every long bridge, and with no solid foundation between the two to build it on very unstable.
*"Long ago it was said that ‘a wise retainer does not serve two lords.’ This meant that it was thought that a retainer would never have two masters. The world being in decline, retainers now employ themselves under this lord and that, in the end fitting the image of vagabond attendants while proclaiming their own merits. Such are the times in which we live.
A lord, saying that he is not pleased with one man or another, will drive the man from the household and heap shame upon him. This also puts the Way of Lord and Retainer, Master and Servant, in disorder.
Even if a retainer does serve in a number of clans, he should think of his master as being the one and only. This means that the lord will be an unknown lord, for, if he is unknown, the Way of the Lord will be established. Even if he serves in clan after clan, he should think of that lord as ‘the lord,’ and this lord as ‘the lord.’ In this way he will think of the lord with great devotion and, even though the clan may change, his mind will not. Thus, the lord will be the one and only from beginning to end.
If a man thinks, ‘My lord is Matsui Dewa, but he is really a lout …’ while he is receiving a stipend or fief and coming up in the world, his mind will not be thinking ‘the lord’ at all. When he next employs himself under Lord Yamamoto Tajima, the same mind will follow along with him. Thus, no matter where he goes, he will never understand the meaning of the word lord and is not likely to prosper.
Therefore it is better not to inquire who this lord or that might be, but to simply think ‘the lord,’ and to consider right-mindedness towards him without mentioning his name. If this is done, and if one serves this lord with thoughts of never stepping in front of the man or even treading on his shadow the entire time he is receiving his support, whether it be one month, one year or even ten years, though he serve in many clans, the lord will be only one."*

So to serve God or Satan matters not as long and you do so without naming him. And to the best of your ability, hold to what you see as what is right? I mean we are not talking about working at both McDonald’s and Burger King at the same time. We are talking about One one hand the Catholic Church that teaches that there is but One God, that Jesus was his only begotten Son. verses the LDS teaching that all can become gods and that Jesus was just one of several of the god of this worlds children. To refer back up a little there is not bridge that can link those two.
I’ll worry about the metaphysical differences when they actually become relevant.
Just pray that it is not to late by the time you realize that it relevant.

In addition to Mormonism and Catholicism, I also study Taoism, Zen Buddhism, and Western occultism mostly. I would say Kabbalah as well, but Madonna’s given it a bad reputation. The only organizations I belong to are the Mormon and Catholic churches. Though I am a member of my college’s pagan club, I’m kind of the odd man out.
To read and study on these different religions and philosophies is a great thing. I to have done some study of many different beliefs held by people throughout the world and time. I even tried for some time throughout my 20’s and for part of my 30’s to incorporate a lot of other things into my Catholic beliefs. It did not work I again repeat myself that a man can not serve 2 masters even if those master fall under the same banner.

=Tsuzuki;4033383]“The true religion is the universal religion; which is why Catholicism has adopted the only name which indicates the truth. Furthermore, this religion maintains orthodoxy in doctrine, the hierarchy of the powers, the efficacy of worship and the genuine magic of ceremonies. In other words it is typical and normal religion, the mother religion to which the Mosaic traditions and the ancient oracles of Hermes rightly belong. In upholding this in the face of the Pope himself if necessary, we shall be more catholic than the Pope and more protestant than Luther when occasion demands.”
- Eliphas Levi, The Great Secret
I don’t even know what to say to this. This Eliphas Levi from this writing it all but saying we will say and do what ever it takes to lead people away Christianity
I would add, “and more Mormon than Joseph Smith.”
If he truly believed the BoM and D&C. other LDS writings as true that is not surprising that he was more Mormon that Mr Smith as Mr smith knew he made the whole thing up.
I don’t know if all the claims of Mormonism are true, but I do believe that God is responsible for it. Maybe He did it to spice things up before His return and see how people would react. It’s what I would do.
Since many of the teaching and beliefs go opposite for what Both Jewish and Christian teaching over the last 6000 years I can say that God did not bring this into being.
