Someone should tell the deacon at my church. :rolleyes:

I get the impression from him that no one commits mortal sins and that Confession is really nothing more than therapy w/ a psychologist.

I do have one question. Has anyone told the USCCB this?
 
As much as I admire Benedict but how can he be praised for teaching something that’s obvious? I’d be rather concerned if he did not teach this.
