As Catholics we know better. I am old enough to have lived through the sexual revolution, the rise of militant feminism, nutty nuns jumping the convent wall to become wiccans, no-fault divorce, the general disreqard for Paul VI encyclical on human life and and more. I can truly say there were times when I too thought maybe the Catholic Church was wrong. Now I see the chaos that results when we chose not to listen and “follow our heart.” The pain that might have been felt by listening and following the Church is nothing to what people end up going through today as a result of “following their heart.”I believe God and only God is perfect, maybe the Catholic Church is wrong.
