ANY commercial that uses the sound of computer keyboards being typed on…just typing this now is annoying me!
Or how about the ones with the really overexaggerated mouse clicks? Like nails on a chalkboard IMO.ANY commercial that uses the sound of computer keyboards being typed on…just typing this now is annoying me!
We have one around here who uses attractive young girls, probably his daughters or nieces, to advertise with him. “Brittney and I want you to come to XYZ motors.” But before they say that, he asks the girl where she goes to school, and she names the school.A local car dealer who uses this girl, who is probably his daughter, to read the lines as she walks by the cars in a tight outfit. Her voice is enough to shatter glass. And her accent is so thick, I have trouble understanding what she is saying.
I agree - the guy needs to have his head examined, and so do the girl’s parents - what are they thinking, to allow this?We have one around here who uses attractive young girls, probably his daughters or nieces, to advertise with him. “Brittney and I want you to come to XYZ motors.” But before they say that, he asks the girl where she goes to school, and she names the school.I think that man is crazy – doesn’t he realize that there are all kinds of perverts out there who might be watching those ads, who might think Brittney is cute, and decide to go wait outside of the school trying to make contact with her!!! That is downright scary to me.
I saw that one too!! I was watching a L&O marathon on Memorial Day while cleaning the house and that lubricant commercial came on that made me stop in my tracks! I’ve never seen anything so inappropriate. That Verizon FiOS “Wow” commercial where the dog, cat and flea are apparently part of the family. Oh, and it’s really mostly the flea that bothers me… He’s ugly and sounds like Ben Stein. I have to change the channel.
Those Friendly’s commercials where the dad is always stupid. The only one I can really remember is the one where the son makes fun of his father, and the mother laughs.
I saw an ad for male and female lubricant in the middle of the day on a Sunday. I said to my husband, “Our children will just never be allowed to watch television.” Seriously, not even baseball or basketball since some of the ads are so inappropriate.
They’re thinking: “My little girl is gonna be on TEE VEE! Maybe we’ll get a reality show outta this.”I agree - the guy needs to have his head examined, and so do the girl’s parents - what are they thinking, to allow this?![]()
Oh, yeah, we get them EVERYwhere and if it’s any consolation, I think the radio ads are even worse, like the one about what it would be like to have a java chiller with the girl on the Sonic commercials (the one where she’s trying to tell some office story about a guy named Larry… my son and I are tied in the speed race to see who can hit a different station button faster when that one comes on!)I dont know if yall get them there where yall are but here in Texas in the Houston area we get the most annoying** Sonic Drive Thru commercials**. The two male idiots in the car and then the married couple acting like dorks.
Yep, we get them here too. The kicker is that we’ve been getting them for years, but Michigan’s first Sonic just opened this month.I dont know if yall get them there where yall are but here in Texas in the Houston area we get the most annoying Sonic Drive Thru commercials. The two male idiots in the car and then the married couple acting like dorks.
Sonic was extra-annoying for a while, because they started advertising heavily about a year before they had any locations in this market*.I dont know if yall get them there where yall are but here in Texas in the Houston area we get the most annoying Sonic Drive Thru commercials.
