Most catholic Anglicans?

Which Anglican groups/denominations would you say are the most catholic? (I don’t mean the “most Roman” or “most papalist”, but the most catholic in the sense that we say Anglicans are “catholic and protestant”. Or, if you will, which ones are the least protestant?)
 
In the way they say “Catholic”? All of them. Branch theory means that churches don’t need to be in communion to be united.

In my experience, we (Catholics) are closer to Anglicans who hold most firmly to either Tradition, such as Anglo-Catholics, or Scripture, such as Evangelicals, rather than mainstream Anglicans who are quite progressive. You asked which are “least Protestant”. Evangelicals are very protestant, but I find that we have a lot more in common these days when we have to join forces against attacks on life, and that they also hold to the fundamentals of revelation, such as the virgin birth, atonement on the Cross, the physical resurrection, etc… The Manhatten Declaration was a fine example of our unity with other traditional Christians.

The Anglicans that joined The Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. Duh lol

Well since the they are in communion with Rome, I will say that the ACC is more Catholic that Protestant. I have family member in the ACC and when asked if they are Protestant or Catholic, they always say Catholic.
 
My Baptist husband thinks that Lutherans are indistinguishable from Catholics. :DI am reminded of my grandmother’s sayings about “might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb.”

Indeed, I started writing the question as “Which Anglican group/denomination would you say is the most catholic?” … but then I thought “Well that would just be ACC” so I made it plural. 🙂
 
There are - literally - hundreds of ecclesial groups in the USA containing the words “Catholic” or “Roman Catholic” in their official names.

I don’t think there are very many with “Roman Catholic” in the names.

A fairly large number have “Catholic” in there name … but not nearly as many as those who consider themselves catholic vis-a-vis the Nicene Creed.

(Of course, this isn’t really what this thread is about; but I can’t complain since it’s a worthwhile side-topic.)

I will toot my own horn here and say mine is. We have Holy Water, the Alter Rail, Real Presence, Cross ourselves and we have the St. Micheal Prayer after every Mass.

But you also have female priest and bishops, openly gay clergy, pro gay marriage and a few other practices that are not very Catholic. 🤷

Nope, none of that heresy. We are not affiliated with the ECUSA, nor would we ever want to be. We are the Charismatic Episcopal Church
 
Catholic just means non-heretical. The most cathilic Anglicans are those who subscribe to the Holy Scriptures as received and interpreted by the ancient bishops and Catholic fathers, use a legitimate version of the Prayer Book, and do not ordain women or celebrate gay weddings.
