Britain is only 3% Muslim. If it allows itself to be majority Muslim then it does not deserve US support. How many times do we have to save Britain? We have done it twice already in the past century. That’s enough. You can’t save people from their own folly. I think the British people won’t be going Islamic - the reaction will come as the Brits are slow to anger but will take firm action when they are forced to. What we’re seeing is just British tolerance that the Muslims are exploiting.Agreeing 100% about supporting the African Union, this would seem a more deserving cause and help build political resistance against extremist nations
It does not follow that ALL Muslim countries are bad just as not all Muslims are. It is also forcast that population increase means that by 2100, Britain will be a Muslim country. Does this mean that Uncle Sam would not come to our aid if we were most in need of it!
It’s a case of damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Staying the course isn’t slowing terrorism down any either. Hence I think they can sort their own problems out - we only need to engage in punitive actions with limited strategic goals. Our public’s ability to withstand casualty is very low indeed. Israeli losses during the first 7 days of the Yom Kippur war far exceeded that experienced by the US in all the years of our Iraq engagement - just to put things into perspective.Experience shows that only fuels terrorism. As fast as you elimiate one, you help create two more at the expense of your own troops, which in my view is a price too dear to pay.
I disagree. The Muslims want us to leave. We should leave. Our present strategy is not working. President Hillary Clinton will make us leave anyway.Unfortunately we have destabilised the region, we now have a duty to remain until law and order is restored.
I advocate disengagement and repatriation and a new global strategy towards Muslims. That way we should aim to limit the impact of terrorism on ourselves.
