Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
I’ve been attending daily mass for almost a year now, generally getting up in the wee hours of the morning, so that I could be home in time to get the kids out the door for school. DH seemed really supportive of it, at first, saying that it was a good way to jump start the day. Lately, though, I’ve been coming home to find my oldest still in her jammies eating breakfast five minutes before the carpool arrives, a LOT of yelling from DH, and the younger two in tears.
I know what I have to do…I just don’t like it. Daily Mass was my time…time that if I didn’t take before the sun was up…I just wouldn’t get. It makes me really sad to think that I have to give that up, but I don’t see any other way.
