Although “hyping” up a major film before release is a tried and true way to generate box office “buzz”, does anyone else feel worn out by now?
We’ve had James Bond go through it’s “hype up”, the last Hunger Games hit cinemas this week and the already super-hyped Star Wars 7 coming in December.
I feel, whilst needed for the films individually, that it’s getting a bit much in all of one hit this season.
Movie advertising and cross advertising(See James Bond in a Heineken commercial) is practically ubiquitous these days.
