Mozambique villagers 'massacred' by Islamists

The police say dozens were killed after youths refused to join the militant group.

Islamist militants have killed around 52 people in northern Mozambique, police say.

The police say that the villagers in Cabo Delgado province were “massacred”, with some beheaded, after some people refused to be recruited into the militant group.

Hundreds have been killed and thousands displaced during the three-year insurgency in Cabo Delgado.

Boy that’s terrible. We have some troops in Africa, it is an immense continent. The UN has had some troops, blue helmets in Africa. A map at the link shows Mozambique is quite down a bit on the continent.
 
The militant Islamists continue to try to push South.

Praying for those in Mozambique impacted by this violence.
