Mpls neighborhoods are "holy ground"

It seems to be a part of a national organization that sounds a lot like third political party, or the beginnings of one, supposedly based on “faith and democracy.” I have to wonder just what their stand on other issues are–what are they saying to the people they are claiming to help? The very fact that the meetings took place at St. Joan of Arc in Mpls raises suspicions since they are very pro-homosexual (in the worst sense of the term) and a pain in the rear of Arbp. Flynn. And the fact that they are in cahoots with the diocese of St. Cloud, also a hotbed of heterodoxy, doesn’t speak well for it being the kind of thing an orthodox Catholic could support. Like Luke Skywalker said when he first saw the Death Star, “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”

ISAIAH has worked itself into my parish, also. The group scares the heck out of me. Social justice is their mantra; but politics is their game. I live in a suburb of Minneapolis and I can tell you this (and this is my own opinion from observation) - their goal is the watering down of the Catholic Faith. Two weeks ago, we had a lay homilist (ring a bell?) I and others raised a fit about it. We were placated and told that we are correct; but, this is only the beginning. ISAIAH will try anything to get a foot into the door, including getting members elected to the Pastoral Council. Some of us pray that we will not turn into another Joan of Arc here in Minneapolis.

The campaign will send dozens of volunteers door-to-door into the area around their church or religious center, asking area residents what their neighborhood needs and what injustices need to be addressed.
Knock, knock, knock…

“Excuse me, but what injustices need to addressed in this neighborhood?”

"Well you can start with the the injustice of going door to door, knocking on peoples doors and disturbing their privacy. "

Sounds like yet another group who just wants the Church to be a food pantry and homeless shelter- not a place where the Gospel of Jesus Christ (all parts of it) is heard.

It is a shame that a parish named after such a holy woman who put the will of God before the will of man, who died for her faith- delivered to a civil government by corrupt bishops who worshipped their country instead of God- is causing such a scandal.
