Draft of Bush Answer to Cindy Sheehan
Good one! Thanks for the link. 👍

CBS interviewed Cindy Sheehan when she arrived in Crawford. At that time she said the foreign terrorists in Iraq were “freedom fighters”. .
Her Code Pink sent approximately $800,000 in cash and supplies to the dissidents who continue to drag out this mess.

Have you got anything at all to back this up yet? I’m guessing as you’ve repeated it you’ve got some pretty good evidence. I still can’t find anything that says they gave anything other than humanitarian and medical supplies.

From the SF Chronicle:

The antics of Code Pink members, which mostly consist of members parading around in silly pink costumes, disguise a political purpose that is far more radical than the surface would suggest.
The group is headed by Medea Benjamin, who, beyond defending various dictatorial regimes against “U.S. aggression” and famously disrupting press conferences, is best known for spearheading the drive to deliver $600,000 in cash and supplies to “the other side” in Fallujah. In other words, her organization may have funded the Islamic terrorists who had taken over the town, imposed a Taliban-like state on its inhabitants, tortured and beheaded hostages (both Iraqi and otherwise) and killed American soldiers and civilians (remember the lynched contractors?). More recently, Code Pink has jumped on the Cindy Sheehan bandwagon, along with the rest of the anti-war movement.

That is what I have found as far as what Code Pink has sent to Sunnis in Iraq. If that is what she was referring to. Unless she was saying that Code Pink was financing Sheehan, which they are doing. Not sure how much they have given Sheehan.

Cindy Sheehan is doing her own fundraising. This can be found on google.

Her son willingly fought her freedom fighters? so she believes her son is a terrorist.:bigyikes:

She is also being financed by Code Pink and Moveon.org

I think it is Moveon.org that is paying for Sheehan’s PR firm.

Cindy’s “Spokesperson” is one of the following: Michelle Mulkey, Mike Smith, Steve Smith, Ryan Fletcher. All, with the exception of Ryan Fletcher, are "Account Executives for the firm “Fenton Communications”. Fenton communications is Moveon.org’s PR firm.

By the way, George Soros is behind Moveon.org and a lot of the financing. See this article for more information.

I often fancy(I can only fancy since I’m not a US citizen) of joining US army and going to Iraq or Afghanistan to fight terrorists when my family members make pro-terrorists remarks

Lol…I know how you feel. Hey, you can join. A bunch of U.S. soldiers became U.S. citizens in Iraq a few weeks ago.

I’ll never get why so many in the west want to destroy their own civilization. The same groups and individuals who apologized for or supported totalitarian communist dictatorships are now on the side of Islamic fascists. Just incredible.

The basic qualifications for enlistment in the U.S. Army include:

• being from 17 to 34 years old
• be a U.S. citizen or resident alien, (must have the I-551)
• have a high school diploma or equivalent (such as a GED)
• be single with no children or married with 2 or less children
• pass the ASVAB test and
• pass the physical
You should also not be undergoing any civil actions; certain law violations will disqualify you.

I have encouraged several eligible pro-war co-workers to join up. None have.

This nonsensical argument from the anti-war crowd is hilarious. Everyone in today’s US armed forces joined up. It’s an all volunteer military.

I have talked to several who have served in Iraq. They are very angry because the work they have done there has not been reported. The media and Code Pink types are trying to engineer defeat for Iraqis and us…

They should be angry. It’s disgusting.
