Arizona GOP wants violence.
 
Funny, the headline does not match the quote, but that is the norm these days.

Many people live a life of service. That does not necessarily mean that they will die doing it. People like priests and doctors.

I think the GOP is doing a fine job of destroying itself. I just hope they don’t bring the Republic down with them.

We will know on the 14th. The Supreme Court asked for responses to the Texas suit by yesterday so they can rule by Monday. They will dismiss that suit and the electors will vote on Tuesday.
 
They received all responses which btw were scathing of Texas.
Texas submitted their rebuttal this morning.
We should here something soon.

Well you told me the election would be all over the day after the election too. Yet it wasn’t.

Why are you so concerned if you think the Republican Party destroys itself?

I would think that would make you happy to see political opposition gone.

I think we need (at least) two strong viable parties. We don’t have that right now, and its hurting the country.

I am not opposed to the GOP. I have voted for both parties, but probably more GOP than Dem. But the entity currently masquerading as the GOP is more accurately a personality cult.
 
The Republican party is not doing anything to destroy itself. @TMC

The democrat party has been doing just that the last 12 years. They are getting worse. Will they destroy
themselves before they destroy our country is what I worry about.

The Democrats have been characterized by a complete lack of organization and coordination, and by bitter interest-group in-fighting, all of my life. But they seem to muddle through despite their many self-inflicted wounds.

The GOP used to be the party of organized, reasoned adults, but they have degenerated into something unrecognizable to most actual conservatives these last few years. Maybe they can shed their cult status and get back to being an actual conservative party. The nation needs one.

They are still a party of conservatism. Nothing has changed except we finally had a strong Republican
stand up and not let himself get pushed around. He was a welcome change to Daddy and son Bush, Romney, McCain, and so many others.

Longer than that! Remember what Will Rogers said – “I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat.”
Side note – gee, it really would be nice to have Will around for all this insanity.
