Khalfan;2476127:
wings.buffalo.edu/sa/muslim/library/jesus-say/ch1.2.7.htmlPaul is the founder of Christianity.
I never said Paul was the founder of christianity. Where did you get that notion just because Paul wrote this letter to the Colosions?
Come on Khalfan can you come up with anything better than what some priest said, sometimes priest say things that are not in accordance to church teaching, as many mulsims do the same for the sake of converts or because they themselves dont understand the quran.
What age is perfect? Purpose is not the issue. The age I think to have sex is definetly not 9 never ever at all. I think that a woman should be ready for sex, not have it forced upon her for the sake of religious purposes ever.
No. That is a mockery of God in OT by someone and you are supposed to believe it.What’s funny is that he’s saying this about the “God of Abraham” whom they say they worship!

It’s no doubt an interesting story but no compelling proof is given for what looks to me like a lot of assumptions taken as facts. There is just no plausible way that the text of the Qur’an could have been corrupted or altered.
The following is an excerpt from an article
One of the most common myths about the Qur’an, is that Usman (r.a.), the third Caliph of Islam authenticated and compiled one Qur’an, from a large set of mutually contradicting copies. The Qur’an, revered as the Word of Allah (swt) by Muslims the world over, is the same Qur’an as the one revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It was authenticated and written under his personal supervision. We will examine the roots of the myth which says that Usman (r.a.) had the Qur’an authenticated.:
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was an Ummi who could not read and write. Therefore, after receiving each revelation, he would repeat it to his Companions. They would write down the revelation, and he would recheck by asking them to read what they had written. If there was any mistake, the Prophet would immediately point it out and have it corrected and rechecked. Similarly he would even recheck and authenticate the portions of the Qur’an memorized by the Companions. In this way, the complete Qur’an was written down under the personal supervision of the Prophet (pbuh).
- Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself supervised and authenticated the written texts of the Qur’an
The complete Qur’an was revealed over a period of 22½ years portion by portion, as and when it was required. The Qur’an was not compiled by the Prophet in the chronological order of revelation. The order and sequence of the Qur’an too was Divinely inspired and was instructed to the Prophet by Allah (swt) through archangel Jibraeel. Whenever a revelation was conveyed to his companions, the Prophet would also mention in which surah (chapter) and after which ayat (verse) this new revelation should fit.
- Order and sequence of Qur’an divinely inspired
Every Ramadhaan all the portions of the Qur’an that had been revealed, including the order of the verses, were revised and reconfirmed by the Prophet with archangel Jibraeel. During the last Ramadhaan, before the demise of the Prophet, the Qur’an was rechecked and reconfirmed twice.
It is therefore clearly evident that the Qur’an was compiled and authenticated by the Prophet himself during his lifetime, both in the written form as well as in the memory of several of his Companions.
The complete Qur’an, along with the correct sequence of the verses, was present during the time of the Prophet (pbuh). The verses however, were written on separate pieces, scrapes of leather, thin flat stones, leaflets, palm branches, shoulder blades, etc. After the demise of the prophet, Abu Bakr (r.a.), the first caliph of Islam ordered that the Qur’an be copied from the various different materials on to a common material and place, which was in the shape of sheets. These were tied with strings so that nothing of the compilation was lost.
- Qur’an copied on one common material
Many Companions of the Prophet used to write down the revelation of the Qur’an on their own whenever they heard it from the lips of the Prophet. However what they wrote was not personally verified by the Prophet and thus could contain mistakes and there were high possibilities of different portions of the Qur’an being missed by different Companions. This gave rise to disputes among Muslims regarding the different contents of the Qur’an during the period of the third Caliph Usman (r.a.).
- Usman (r.a.) made copies of the Qur’an from the original manuscript
Usman (r.a.) borrowed the original manuscript of the Qur’an, which was authorized by the beloved Prophet (pbuh), from Hafsha (may Allah be pleased with her), the Prophet’s wife. Usman (r.a.) ordered four Companions who were among the scribes who wrote the Qur’an when the Prophet dictated it, led by Zaid bin Thabit (r.a.) to rewrite the script in several perfect copies. These were sent by Usman (r.a.) to the main centres of Muslims.
Two such copies of the copied text of the original Qur’an authenticated by the Prophet are present to this day, one at the museum in Tashkent in erstwhile Soviet Union and the other at the Topkapi Museum in Istanbul, Turkey.
And so, there is really no doubt at all that Qur’an that we see today is, word for word and syllable for syllable, exactly the same copy that was authenticated by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself before his demise.
You are wrong. Even if you tell me ‘I want to convert to Islam’, I would say learn your religion first. Then you learn Islam. Because if you jump to Islam or to any other religion before understand Christianity well, you will keep on jumping from one to another. Make it a habit to learn your religion and I am giving you points to be noted in your Holy Bible. There you have it… more proof that for a Muslim, doing whatever it takes to gain more converts is more important than being honest.
It doesn’t matter to them if they truly believe what they’re saying is correct, so long as they think they can pick up another recruit. No different than Mo himself would have done.
Exoflare asked for the verses in the Bible that claim that God is a pedophile and you have not provided them! No. That is a mockery of God in OT by someone and you are supposed to believe it.
All taken out of context by Muslim “scholars”!You are wrong. Even if you tell me ‘I want to convert to Islam’, I would say learn your religion first. Then you learn Islam. It seems you don’t know what you are talking about. Earlier you said Mohamed (pbuh) forced all to believe in him from their own religions. Now you are saying these believers (made out of threatening and forcing) made miraculous stories to make other people believe in him!! That is self contradicting. You have to stick to your argument. Either the followers loved him (because they believed in his words) or hated him (becasue they were converted forcefully and naturally they will not go for stories to support his mission).Muhammad never acknowledged these miracles because they are fabrications made by his followers to keep the flame alive!
What Jesus (pbuh) did when he was asked to do miracle according to Bible? When Muhammad was asked by the unbelievers to perform miracles, he just pointed to the Quran as his only miracle! You just want to keep believing the fairytales!
Time will prove that. You can keep attacking our faith all you like, but your whole religion is based simply on believing a man’s so-called private and self serving revelations with no other proof! You just accept his word!
Islam may do all it can to disprove other faiths in order to bolster itself, but it will never destroy Christianity, because we have Jesus’ words that even the gates of hell would not prevail against his Church!

Since the Old Testament has to do almost entirely with the Israelites, it takes an enormous act of supposition that this passage refers to a descendant of Ishmael. And you have to make this giant leap otherwise you cannot prove Muhammad as a prophet. Also, I’d like to see you trace Muhammad’s lineage back about 2500 years to the time of Ishmael. You took it literally. Even if any one in Israelites cannot claim he is brother of another unless he is born to same father. But in a generation sense, they can say, they from the same family since they both are from Isaraelites. In the same way, in a generation sense ishmaelites are their brotherens, since Ismael and Ishaac (pbut) were brothers.
Nice try Khalfan, but the words of Jesus’ followers is he is THE Prophet, not A prophet. They knew exactly what they were saying, and so did Jesus. That is what we Muslims believe he is. Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet. One of the great 5 prophets of Islam.
Before I tell you the miracles, let me say this.
From the very words of Jesus (pbuh), you should understand that there will be many people who can do miracles but not from God. So please stop relying so much on miracles. Still pope and Catholic authority confirms people as saints according to the miracles they did and happened to them. But the funny part is, miracles are happening more in protestents (specially pentacost) than it happening among catholics. All they do visioning Jesus (pbuh), healing people etc. But none of them are Christians even as per the comment of Pope 3 days back. There is nothing that any miracle can prove today. But it was indeed valid for those people like peter (Disciple), jews and the people before them. There were people who asked Mohamed (pbuh) too to show any miracle to prove his prophethood. But today what we have is a the message they gave us. Do you have anything from Jesus (pbuh) (Consider only the four Gospels. Filter it for the words of Jesus (pbuh) and exclude the understandings of writers since the writers are not conform)? That is what is for you to testify and to rely your faith. We have Quran and Sahih Sunna (Confirmed Hadees) which we do rely our faith. It should not be the miracles that happened 2000 -1500 years ago, to rely our faith.
The reason I brought up miracles, is that Moses asked God how he was to prove he was God’s messenger to the Israelites. All the miracles you mention in your subsequent posts are stories told after Muhammad was already dead. But like you said, “you should understand that there will be many people who can do miracles but not from God.” So, if that’s the case, then the proof of a true messenger from God is in his message. And we’ve already been down that road.Continue.
You can check it with the context. All taken out of context by Muslim “scholars”!

Do you say Mohamed (pbuh) was not from the lineage of Ismael (pbuh)? Then I will bring proof. Becasue it is the first time I hear something like that, uttering anything to keep the debate on.Since the Old Testament has to do almost entirely with the Israelites, it takes an enormous act of supposition that this passage refers to a descendant of Ishmael. And you have to make this giant leap otherwise you cannot prove Muhammad as a prophet. Also, I’d like to see you trace Muhammad’s lineage back about 2500 years to the time of Ishmael.
Jesus (pbuh) is supposed to be A prophet like Moses (pbuh) as per Duet prophecy my dear.Nice try Khalfan, but the words of Jesus’ followers is he is THE Prophet, not A prophet. They knew exactly what they were saying, and so did Jesus.
Yes we are and Quran is the message of God that confirms the messages came before. And we’ve already been down that road.
No, I’m saying prove it. Show me his lineage father to son from Ishmael down to Muhammad.Do you say Mohamed (pbuh) was not from the lineage of Ismael (pbuh)? Then I will bring proof. Becasue it is the first time I hear something like that, uttering anything to keep the debate on.
Coming from you, this is a bit much. Considering how this debate is really about your prophet.uttering anything to keep the debate on
So you’re are God now?? I asked YOU to prove, not God.Secondly, 2500 years is nothing for God.
No, “my dear” (gotta love your condescending tone). You are trying to change what is actually written. Jesus is THE Prophet. He is also God, but since you are not going to believe it…Jesus (pbuh) is supposed to be A prophet like Moses (pbuh) as per Duet prophecy my dear.
The Quran bears no relation to any message sent before. It contradicts all that is written in the Old and New Testaments.Yes we are and Quran is the message of God that confirms the messages came before.

The following was taken from infidels.org/library/modern/guido_deimel/judaism.html regarding Numbers 31:17-18 in the Bible:I can’t wait to hear this one. Where is this in the Bible? Book, Chapter and Verse please!
More than 100,000 companians (whoever lived at the time usman (ra)) approved the copy of Quran that usman (ra) compiled (This mission was started by the first Kaliph within one year of the death of Prophet Mohamed (pbhu)). Isn’t that enough evident for the authenticity of Quran that it was the same all they have learned from the Prophet (pbuh) directly? For me, it is.It’s no doubt an interesting story but no compelling proof is given for what looks to me like a lot of assumptions taken as facts.
All very interesting, but where in the Bible does it say they slept with them?? Also my Bible doesn’t give the age of the females in verse 40. I am assuming you added that to make it look like it’s part of the Bible.Continue.
The basis for these rulings is the following Mishnaic passage of Tractate Niddah (filth):
A girl three years and one day old is betrothed by intercourse. “A girl three years old may be betrothed through an act of sexual intercourse,” the words of R. Meir. And sages say, “Three years and one day old.”
And if a Levir has had intercourse with her, he has acquired her. And they are liable on her account because of the law prohibiting intercourse with a married woman. And she imparts uncleanness to him who has intercourse with her when she is menstruating to convey uncleanness to the lower as to the upper layer. If she was married to a priest, she eats heave offering. If one of those who are unfit for marriage has intercourse with her, he has rendered her unfit to marry into the priesthood. If one of all those who are forbidden in the Torah to have intercourse with her did so, they are put to death on her account. But she is free of responsibility.
If she is younger than that age, intercourse with her is like putting a finger in the eye. (Mishnah Niddah 5:4) [134]
Thus, one “of the many important issues worked out in the Mishnah concerns proper conduct with women,” [135] and the “entire society of Judaism – that is, the community formed by the Torah – found in the Talmud those modes of thought and inquiry, those media of order and value, that guided the formation of public affairs and private life as well.” [136]
While it is reassuring to see there was at least some limit as to what the sages would declare holy and moral, this ruling had severe implications on the interpretation of other topics as well. The Tannaﴩc Midrash Sifre to Numbers in ?157 comments on the above quoted commandment of Moses to kill the Midianite women as well as the male children:
“Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that has known a man by sleeping with him.(Num 31:17).
[This] refers to her who has slept with a man as well as her who is suitable for intercourse, even when she has not slept with a man…
But all the young girls who have not known a man by sleeping with him, keep alive for yourselves. From here R. Shimon b. Yohai used to say: a Proselyte girl who became a proselyte in the age of less than three years and one day, is rendered fit to marry into the priesthood.” [137]
According to the Tannaﴥ Rabbis, Moses therefore had ordered the Israelites to kill all women older than three years and a day, because they were “suitable for having sexual relations.” [138]

Here it is explained
Now read the below with above verses.
Numbers 31:35 and of human beings, of the women who had not known man intimately, all the persons were 32,000.
36 The half, the portion of those who went out to war, was as follows:
40and the human beings (virgin girls from 3 years) were 16,000, from whom the LORD’S levy was 32 persons.
We know why the virgin girls were kept for men. What God was doing with the virgin (special demand) girls?
Show us where Muhammad acknowledged any of those miracles! Either the followers loved him (because they believed in his words) or hated him (becasue they were converted forcefully and naturally they will not go for stories to support his mission).
It just authenticates that Muhammad was the writer, nothing else! Knowing the author, does not make the book true or prove that it came from God!More than 100,000 companians (whoever lived at the time usman (ra)) approved the copy of Quran that usman (ra) compiled (This mission was started by the first Kaliph within one year of the death of Prophet Mohamed (pbhu)). Isn’t that enough evident for the authenticity of Quran that it was the same all they have learned from the Prophet (pbuh) directly? For me, it is.
