Then you’ll have to tell all those Moslems to stop using the Bible to prove Muhammed’s predicted there!Quran confirms the message, not any book.

You are programmed to believe so. Check the Hebrew NAME the GOD revealed to Moses. Then check aramic NAME that Jesus (pbuh) used.
It can be said the same about you that you are just programed.I suspect a more truthful statement
In each of the verses from the Fourth Gospel quoted below, Jesus is found using the Greek verb eimi. In some of the verses he uses the phrase Ego eimi, which directly corresponds with the wording in Exodus 3:14. There, where the KJV translates the Hebrew into English as, “I AM THAT I AM” and other versions translate “I AM WHO I AM,” the Greek Septuagint text of the Old Testament (completed about 132 BC and used as “the Bible” by the First, Second, and Third Century Christians) translates the Hebrew into Greek as, “Ego eimi ho on”, which would be translated into English as “I am the Being.” Early Jewish Christians were certainly familiar with the Septuagint’s epoch making pronouncement, “Ego eimi ho on,” and likely would not have missed the symbolism of the Gospel of John’s use of “Ego eimi,” when spoken by Jesus in the Greek text of John.
The “I AM” sayings of Jesus in the Fourth Gospel
Jesus (pbuh) was not saying the name of God, but he existed before Abraham (pbuh). The life and death he said, was not physical but spiritual. You may underatand that if you read it from the beginning of the chapter John 8 or atleast from John 8:50.
This does not hold up they started to stone Him which would not be the case if it was just spiritual
52The Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon Abraham died, and the prophets also; and You say, 'If anyone keeps My word, he will never taste of death.’ (They misunderstood. They took it for physical death)
I agree with you here
53"Surely You are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died too; whom do You make Yourself out to be?”
.
56"Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad."
57So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” (Still they were taking it for physical life and death)
58Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” (Spiritually, not physically)
They didn’t misunderstand Him, you do
59Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple.
It has nothing to do with the name of God.
You are mistaken In other words, when Jesus was using the “I AM” construction he was indicating His divinity, and in John recording His statements he was doing likewise. The “I AM Saying”
So Mohamed was not a man but a spirit according to you? Didn’t Mohamed die? But how can a spirit die? This doesn’t make any sense. I for one am glad I belong to the Church that Jesus established!=Khalfan;"But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth;—That is what exactly Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) did.
Peter said,Matthew 16:18 "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hell will not overpower it.
Acts 2:32-42 "This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses."Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear. "For it was not David who ascended into heaven, but he himself says: ‘THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD,
“SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES A FOOTSTOOL FOR YOUR FEET.”’ “Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ–this Jesus whom you crucified.” Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do?” Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. “For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Acts 9:31 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase.
Acts 11:26 and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
Acts 14:23 When they had appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
Acts 14:27 When they had arrived and gathered the church together, they began to report all things that God had done with them and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.
Acts 15:3 Therefore, being sent on their way by the church, they were passing through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and were bringing great joy to all the brethren.
Acts 15:4 When they arrived at Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported all that God had done with them.
Acts 16:5 So the churches were being strengthened in the faith, and were increasing in number daily.
thats a interesting quote isn’t it.Acts 20:28 "Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
Khalfan, please take sometime and read this last quote over and over again;unpacking all its meaning and letting the truth of it sink into your soul! Peace be with you. Chetamong which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
Red herrings have been ruled halal!Do you even understand what a red herring is?
Oh yummy! I love fish.Red herrings have been ruled halal!![]()
I thought William Marion Brahnam was the ‘end time profit’Muhammed was the last prophet? I think the Mormons might disagree with you.
You know, that picture you have of showing our Twin Towers burning makes me once again think of how peaceful Islam really is. No seriously, if the dopes who committed this act think they will be in heaven, whew, they must be really shocked by now at where they are at!!Have you got only one million woman in europe?
The “person” whom Jesus (A.S.) prophecised will come after him, is called Pargaleeta in the Bible . This word was deleted by interpreters and translators and changed at times to “Spirit of Truth” and at other times, to “comforter” and sometimes “Holy Spirit.” The original Greek and its meaning is “one whom people praise exceedingly.” The sense of the word, then, is applicable to the word Muhammad in Arabic, since Muhammad means “the praised one.”So Mohamed was not a man but a spirit according to you? Didn’t Mohamed die? But how can a spirit die? This doesn’t make any sense. I for one am glad I belong to the Church that Jesus established!
You forgot. He said, all his power is from God, that sent him. There are other places in the Bible that Jesus said He was God
- Mark 2:1-12–Jesus heals a paralytic. He had authority to forgive sins, which is something only God Himself can do. Then, to authenticate His claim, He demonstrated His power by healing the paralytic.
Again you forgot. He said, He himself can do nothing.
- The miracles Jesus performed are a very strong indication of His divinity (because no mere human can work actual miracles by his own power).
He wanted to prove, he is coming from God, as he said many times.Jesus referred to the miracles in John 10:24-39 as proof that he was telling the truth.
This passage is Christ’s own response to the unbelieving Jews’ charge of blasphemy (dishonoring God by claiming to be God).
3. During Christ’s trial, the chief priests asked Him point blank, “Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.” And He said,
He didn’t ask him, “Are you God?” and he didn’t reply “I am God”. They asked “Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.” and he replied, “I am”. Do you want the list of ‘SONS OF GOD’ mentioned in Bible?“I am.” (Mark 14:60-62)
“Yes, it is as you say.” (Matt. 26: 63-65)
“You are right in saying I am.” (Luke 22:67-70)
He was a good sheperd, but not GOD.
- Jesus says in John 10:11-18 that he is the Good Shepherd. When you read this passage along with Ezekiel 34:1-16, you can see that Jesus was identifying Himself with God, who pronounced Himself Shepherd over Israel. The Jewish people, being an agrarian and shepherding society, knew and dearly loved this section of the Old Testament because God was using a metaphor they lived every day. So when Jesus said, “I am the Good Shepherd,” and that whole John passage so clearly parallels the Ezekiel passage, there was no doubt that He was claiming to be God. Jesus claims to be God
I have said you are gods’? 35If he called them gods’ to whom the word of God came — and the scripture cannot be broken — 36what about one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, `I am God’s Son’?” (John 10:22-36).You are answered in 752It can be said the same about you that you are just programed.I suspect a more truthful statement

“Those who follow the apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper. (The Noble Quran, 7:157)”Then you’ll have to tell all those Moslems to stop using the Bible to prove Muhammed’s predicted there!
