Many Muslims believe the Muhammad is the Comforter that Jesus said He would sent.
But after thinking about it, this is not true.
I) Jesus said,** “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another comforter that He may abide with you forever.”** (John 14:16)
Well Muhammad cannot be the Comforter, because he died, and could never be with us forever.
II) Jesus also said, ""The Spirit of Truth, whom the word cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."
**III) **Jesus said, but if I depart, I will send Him (Comforter - Spirit of Truth) to you. (John 16:7)
Jesus says, He will send the Comforter. Muhammad is called the Messenger of Allah, not the Messenger of Jesus, unless of course, Muslim consider Jesus to be Allah, then perhaps, maybe …
