Assalam,

you have used a verse and if ANY christian can read it carefully she/he will notice that Muhammed (pbuh) does not want to marry Mary or Asiyah, he has them as exemplars to the wives of the companions.

Mohd sure was a great skirt chaser. He knew a good lass when he saw one.

this is a mockery to the righteous people before Jesus was born…also…I don’t see how Mankind was saved from being destroyed by Satan

Also…Jews didn’t kill Jesus
Last time i checked the Jews handed Jesus over to the Romans and Had him killed.

True that is the christian view.
But the muslim view is that the jews attempted to betray Jesus but then Jesus was ascended by God and therefore survived.

Ok then:)

You make Jesus sound a little bit like a coward thou.

If it was Romans who killed JESUS, it was the JEWS who instigated them to kill a man who they very well knew was innocent of any crime. Whichever way you look at it Jews are not people who you should try to imitate.
And what should you do to a group of people who caused pain and death to an innocent man other than mock them?
If the people that lived before Jesus were righteous, there was no reason for Jesus to be born at all, and be killed as a propiation for their transgressions.

No we don’t.

Lollal bro calm down with the anti-jew. Nobody even mentioned anything about imitating jews.

**If God’s intention was to save Jesus from earthly death, He could have easily saved him from all other earthly pain and misery also. But then, Jesus would not have been able to fulfil His Father’s Will, which is why He was born in this world.

Jesus was tempted by the devil (just like other men), he sweated blood, and was betrayed by his own people and mocked by Roman soldiers before getting killed.

God could have given him birth as the Roman Emperor instead of being born to an unmarried virgin betrothed to a poor carpenter in Israel, under the Romans.

A Christian view of GOD and GODLINESS is very different from an Islamic view, and will never be understood by a Muslim, unless he unlearns what was taught to him from childhood.**

Well your saying he ran away from death.
There is a strong opinion from the Quran that indicates that God caused him to die and then raised him to Heaven,so he submitted to the will of God…

God said: "O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me (3:55)

**Malai Qum Asalam, Pl read the posting to which I replied.

Who are “the righteous people before Jesus was born”?

and how can you call them “righteous”?

I hope you are going through the threads before making your agitated postings.**

What? I didn’t call anyone righteous.
Lollal I’m sorry about my agitated postings–I didn’t notice-where did I insult/cause you agitation?
(also it is wa-alaykumu salam) 👍

But I was referring to "the righteous people before Jesus " mentioned in the post before mine.
By your asking me to cool off, I thought I was making you agitated.

Would being a Roman Emperor have done as much good?

Jesus chose his death. So yes God did cause Jesus to die.

Funny you say that because one of Allah’s names is “the omniscipotent”.
And no. Allah is everywhere.
Here check this out: islamicinvitationcentre.com/FAQ/worship/FAQ_worship.html
It should explain some of your misconceptions 👍

**If Allah is everywhere, why can Muslims pray only facing Mekka?

If Islam is true, why is it that Muslims are encouraged to kill other Muslims who leave Islam?
Why is the Bible, a cross, or any Christian literature prohibited from entering Saudi Arabia?
If Islam is true, it should welcome any fair challenge from other faiths, since the Truth would always triumph when compared to non-truths.**

**Hadi you are right. Death is mentioned before raising to heavens. Now please tell, has Jesus risen to heavens or not? If he has risen to heavens ( and only soul rises, not the body), then please tell Jesus had died or not. Death is mentioned in the Quran before raising to heavens.

Quran says, “O Jesus, I shall cause you to die (a natural death) and I shall raise you to myself…”** Al_Quran 3:55.

Well your saying he ran away from death.
** H J, muslims do not say Jesus ran away from death. They suggest that God saved him by takinghim away by breaking the roof of the prison (somehow). The worst story that is being circulated in some muslim cicles is that not only did God take Jesus away from the cell but God caught some other person, made his face look exactly like Jesus and put that man in place of Jesus in the cell.

The soldiers and the Jews crucified that man instead of Jesus and so Jesus was saved from death on the cross. These are real false stories being circulated amongst the muslims. The christians are taking interest intehse stories and they try to impose these things on Muslims. But that is the worst false story, the most foolish suggestion by some one.

So we have to seek out what happened to Jesus on the cross or before the cross?? There is definite belief amongst the Muslims that Jesus was not crucified, meaning that the act of crucifixion was not completed, meaning that he was put on the cross but he did not die on the cross. When he was brought down, he was still alive but had fainted and appeared to be dead. He miraculously survived the incident of the cross and God did it for him.

If you need more detail, it can be provided.

That was the point of view of some Muslims. The christians believe that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the sinners. Later he got up which is called resurrection. But if he did not die, there is no resurrection. No need of resurrection. It would simply be reviving.
