Murder Suicide - stunned - need prayers

God bless you and God bless this dear Mother and daughter.

Lord please hear our prayers for the family members who lost their lives in this shocking and frightening incident and grant them eternal life with You.Please comfort the sister who is in shock and suffering terribly with grief.For the friend also who is supporting her.Lord this is particularly painful and I ask You to ease the pain and comfort those who mourn.Please fill them with confodence of faith that their loved ones are safe in eternal life with You.Grant them strength and courage to get through these painful dark times.Through Jesus Christ Our Lord Amen

As I gain new information, it seems like a miracle these two are alive. The shooter’s gun jammed on the first two pulls of the trigger allowing the wife/mom to hide in the closet where he still shot her twice, but surely the intial shots would have been fatal from point blank. The daughter called 911 with four bullet wounds, two went through her, one shattered her hand. She called 911 and calmly and collectedly explained what was going on. The paramedics say she saved their lives because they would have both bled out before anyone got there. Such a horrific scene. Images. Memories.

They continue to heal physically but are still in the hospital for a while yet. The mother after much prodding, finally asked to see a counselor. They still haven’t made arrangements for the two funerals. It’s been 10 days.

I talked to my friend, the wife’s sister, for about half an hour Weds. She has been there 24/7… for 10 days… her neice won’t let her go. The half hour she was on the phone she was being texted by her neice.

We appreciate the prayers but I must say that I believe many more are needed. Of course, I guess that’s always true for all of us everywhere.
