Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O glorious Saint Therese,
whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and counsel mankind,
I implore your Miraculous Intercession.

So powerful are you in obtaining every need of body and soul
our Holy Mother Church proclaims you a “Prodigy of Miracles…
the Greatest Saint of Modern Times.”

Now I fervently beseech you to answer my petition*** for
this mother and daughter, deceased husband and son, and family and friends. ***
and to carry out your promises of spending Heaven doing good upon the earth…
of letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses.

Henceforth, dear Little Flower, I will fulfill your plea
“to be made known everywhere” and I will never cease
to lead others to Jesus through you.

Amen.

Funeral went off without major incident. (Thank God and your prayers.) The Policeman who was at the crime scene volunteered to be there for security (you never really think about how human they must be) because he was concerned it could get ugly. The brother of the shooter showed up late because he thought it was from 11-3 but it was from 11-12 (divine intervention?). The in-laws were not happy that the husband/father (shooter) was not included in the slide show for the murdered son. Then again did they help with the slide show? No. Did the Mom’s side feel inclined to include him… No. Should they… maybe…

Daughters hand is not healing well enough for necessary surgeries so the surgeries are delayed. Looks like they won’t get to Texas until at least the middle of summer. My friend is back at work but will be heading back to her sister and neice soon.

Thanks for asking and God Bless you all for your continued prayers.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners.
Now and in the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed by thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth and it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and forever shall be.
A world without end. Amen

A Prayer to St. Jude

Most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of.

Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.

Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, ***particularly for this mother and daughter, deceased husband and son, family and friends ***and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever.

I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.

Amen.
