The point is that these people are doing these things in the name of Allah.We have our own criminals,but they don’t commit a crime and follow it up with,“Jesus is Great”.If you asked them for an honest answer to a question about their religion,they would admit they never darken the doorway of any Christian Church,it is a culture they have,not a Faith.
I do not mention these things just to pick a fight with you.I just feel that our life is something that should be ended by God,not by our own hand in a suicide bombing.If they achieve their mission,
their friends shout “Allah is Great”.Practising Christians have left
that kind of stuff in the Middle Ages.These Islamic suicide bombers would describe themselves as “practising their Faith”.
I can appreciate the difficulty in trying to speak out against these people,especially if you have to live in the same area as them.
However,i get the feeling that you just are unwilling to admit that
it is happening.The Catholic Church has had its scandals,as have other Churches.We have had to admit to it,even if the Press exaggerated it and concentrated more on the catholic scandals
than on the scandals of other Churches,possibly because they are more afraid of the influence of the Catholic Church.They keep referring to “paedophile priests” when the vast majority of the offences were against post-puberty children.In other words,they were gay and the Press didn’t want to be seen as attacking gays.
While we are on the subject of paedophilia,you have your own problems in that area.Just a 10-15 minute car journey from where i
live,there was a guy arrested for indecently assaulting a young boy.I think you will cringe when i tell you how they caught him.The Police Forensics Team found a sample of the culprit’s sperm in the Mosque carpet.

I witnessed a Christrian-Muslim dialogue long time ago. When they touched the topic of HK, the Muslim had a simple challenge to the Christian: *Try to find from the Koran and Hadith where HK is permissible. * I did my own research and until now I can not find a single evidence!

What we see from the Islamic world are actions of ignorant Muslims who are misrepresenting their religion. Let’s be wise.

Why even bother yall? honor killings is like the big fat elephant in the room. if they just keep denying that its there, then it really doesnt exist. they answer our questions with questions and refuse to see anyones point of view. i have learned a lot though. They believe that they and only they are right about EVERYTHING. They believe they will get virgins in “heaven” some of which include young boys, but hey thats ok. they believe that they alone can make the decision as to whats right and whats wrong and if they screw up all they have to do is say sorry god or allah or whatever, no confession, no contrition, no pennance, but hey thats ok. “allah” knows im sorry. they belive that a murderous warrior, who married young girls (age of 9) and many women as he wanted going against his own “law” was the real prophet and our Jesus Christ was not worthy enough. They believe you can beat your wives, but only as a last resort. I quit. i was all for trying to evangelize to these people, welcome them and what not. i thought as a Legionary i would have the strength and the patience to do so. i was wrong, i have wasted my breath. i will continue to try once i have regained a little bit of energy to deal with them and their evasions of questions. after screaming at my computer screen for a week now, im taking a breather. yall fight the good fight, try to bring them to the Truth of Jesus and mother Church. it would be a shame to see such intelligent people miss out on the Truth and the Way only to be misguided by a false prophet, with a false book of a false religion. hope yall had better luck than i did.

It does not necessarily need to be in the Qur’an or Hadith. See, the problem stems from the Islamic religion putting so much emphasis on women and sexual conduct.

Saying HK is not a Muslim problem is like saying priestly celibacy is not a Catholic issue.

if something is not in the Quran and the hadith then it not a part of islam, it is apart of someone’s culture.

Age has nothing to do with it. This is my religion, this is my belief. I did not ask you to accept it or to judge it against your own. I only posted it so that there would better understand. There are Mennonites that live close to where I do. They do not have electricity, they wear plain clothes, most don’t drive cars, they live lives that are very similar to the pioneers and this is their faith. We learn about them in sociology class not to stand and judge them on their way of, but to understand that they live this life and that is how there are going to die. I am doing the same here. You do not have to accept my religion, or even like it, all you have to do is understand that your way of life is not my way of life. I’m sorry if I seem ticked off but I cannot stand this attitude where you question everything that is said about Islam as if I am commanding you to follow it and you are fighting with all your strength. It’s insulting and defeats the propose of why I am here.

Could you explain that a bit further? It has been posted many times that Islam comes only from Qur’an and Hadith.

What is Sunnah?

I have been told by many Muslims that the Qur’an is the original spoken word of God and not for man to interpret.
Is this not true?

I have seen Fatwas issued that call for killing of non-Muslims. Are these then valid?

Who is allowed to issue Fatwas? Where does their authority to do so come from?

This is not just for you Fatuma. Please, any knowledgable jump in.
