For all of those out there who, like myself (to some extent), disliked the music during the Nationals Park Mass, I have good news.
Fr. Richard John Neuhaus:
“I have had the privilege of seeing the musical programme for the Mass at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, and, without referring to any other Mass that has taken place in any other stadium, in any place else in the world, at any time, without any reference to that, what is proposed for Yankee Stadium is magnificent. It is, as I see the programme, going to be an admirable expression of the richness of the Christian and Catholic tradition: liturgically, ritually, and musically. I think it will warm the hearts of all those who hold dear, as Pope Benedict does, the riches of the Church’s tradition of worship.”
