Muslim Anti-Christian Youtube Jihad?

Has anyone else noticed the enormous amount of Muslim videos you tube attacking Christianity and Christian doctrine left right and centre? The vast majority of them are blatant lies too that have already been refuted like that Paul invented Christianity, Constantine invented Christianity, Jesus is copied from various pagan religions, that Jesus never claimed to be god, the bible is corrupted, the first Christians were not Trinitarians and were Muslims, Mohammad is in the bible, that the bible says Jesus wasn’t crucified etc . Then there are thousands of videos of “exchristians” giving reasons why they left the Christian faith ( the vast majority of which demonstrate their utter ignorance of it) . Even videos of some priests and ministers who converted display the same ignorance and are full of mistakes, lies and misrepresentations which anyone with a basic knowledge of christian theology can recognise.

As a casual youtube user im astonished by the hundreds of thousands of videos like this on youtube. It seems Muslims are engaged in a cyber jihad of sorts to barrage the internet with false information about Christianity. In order to eradicate it and at the same time bombard it with propaganda of alleged scientific miracles in the koran.The sad thing is many people get taken in by these lies. You cannot look up anything on youtube about Christianity without getting these false claims.

I know the internet allows freedom of speech in the extreme but i think Catholics should do more to respond to this “anti-Christian propaganda jihad” on you tube lest the lies keep on destroying people’s faith. The utter malice and hatemongering with which much of this is done leaves much to be desired. I used to spend hours refuting Muslim lies and flawed arguments but I have kinda given up on doing that because there is so much of the stuff. Does this stuff bother anyone else on YT? It seems like a concerted attempt to attack Islam’s biggest rival. Whilst I know there are also some Christian videos attacking Islam its nothing like on the scale of the Muslim ones.

No matter how much Muslims with their propaganda try to eradicate Christianity it will not fall. The church of Jesus Christ, The Catholic Church will remain come what may, I just despair for all those taken in by such lies [BIBLEDRB][/BIBLEDRB]

Hahh that’s hilarious I also saw one video like this with a lion supposedly saying allah or a vid claiming a crack in the moon from it being split for Mohammad.

I just get sick of all these Muslim propaganda videos especially the convert videos the vast majority of which are stupid . especially the videos of ex ministers turn Muslims yusif estes and dr dirks those guys are just so ignorant and spread such misinformation its shocking. I just think its time catholic answers or some other catholic apologetics group started up a you tube channel addressing many common lies and such otherwise its going to drag more and more people down because there are soooo many of them on YT

So coincidental that you were on there looking at those videos and yesterday I was looking at Catholic videos and came across this video that was on the side of one of the videos I was watching.

This is from an ex muslim explaining who the Allah really is. It’s a 10 minute video, but hey, I thought it was very interesting to watch… One of Allah’s 99 names is “The Deceiver” according to this fellow.

I’d be careful about extrapolating about the reaction of the Muslim community from the threats of one very small radical faction in the USA, as they are a very small part of it. No doubt many more would be very angry about South Park (as many religious people are), but I don’t even know how widely available South Park is in Muslim-majority states (that episode in particular would probably not be re-run, as some other episodes of that show have apparently been “taken out of rotation”, if you will, after complaints by other groups).

On the general subject of anti-Christian videos by Muslims, it is the same bunch of 1400 year old arguments in a new medium. True, it does reach more potential converts, but it is essentially the same, and if people fall for it just because it is in a video then they’re idiots. Like all those comments on the “Cow saying ‘Allah’” video that I posted…sheesh…I would be embarrassed by such things if I were a Muslim, just like I am embarrassed by “face of Mary/Jesus on a piece of toast” videos that are also on Youtube. It’s a bunch of junk. I’m sad that anyone is “amazed” by anything like that. It’s just so stupid. (sorry; I can’t think up nice euphemisms for something so ridiculous)

very true. my original post, was to a muslim telling us we should Calm Down. kind of toungue and cheek i admit. probably not fair. but you are very correct in saying they must have a major change in behavior if they are ever going to be more accepted by the west. i feel bad for the vast majority of muslims, who are too afraid to speak, due to violence and terror aimed at them if they step out of line. i feel bad for the majority, that through no fault of their own, are caught in between in times of conflict. i think the vast majority of those who practiced islam, would just like to be left alone by their governments, and extremist. they have much to offer, in terms of positive cultural influences, education, the arts etc. i really pray that the majority does win out in the end. Those holding them captive are the ones who support the syariah and those who benefit from the teachings of islam. Eg. Multiples wives, justification for your killing of those who insult you, support of the brotherhood for your shameful acts performed in the name of islam.

If islam is to be eradicated, it has and must start with the removal of the syariah and the implementation of absolute religious freedom. The last time something like this was attempted in Malaysia the ruling imams launched an all out offensive to push the Islamic ruling political party to force everyone back in.

What happened was thousands of muslims wanted to depart from islam by changing their religious status on their I/Cs (Islamic by virtue of their birth). The ruling political party prohibited that change. You can check this out on the web.

If non-muslims are going to continue being blase about islamic attempts to encroach onto their secular lives, then ultimately this world will end in the hands of muhammad’s followers.

You tube is full of videos against all religions but the vast majority of them are Muslim videos attacking Christianity. I mean there are literally hundreds of thousands of them, more than from Christians attacking Islam and amongst those who do so on YT almost none of them are catholic. It is clear that Muslims are trying to eradicate Christianity with their huge amount of propaganda videos, hatred, name calling (as many of them call Christians godless pagans or pagan mithras worshipers etc.) And then their propaganda videos about the scientific miracles in the Koran pray on the minds of those people who the previous videos called them to question their faith. You know it’s the truth. There are hundreds of thousands of videos of Ahmed Dedat, Zakir Naik and khalid yassin attacking Christianity. This internet propaganda jihad is doing real damage as people take these claims at face value and don’t try to see the counterarguments and refutation of their claims. Muslims always complain about evangelical christian missionaries decieving people but they seem to do the same thing

Im not advocating censorship or going against freedom of speech. I just think its time us Catholics stood up to it and got some well educated scholars and apologists to set up a you tube channel to oppose these ubiquitous lies which as i have said are dragging many people down. There are Christian videos which oppose Islam but they mainly made by evangelicals and not Catholics.

I think much of this Islamic cyber jihad against the Christian faith is a response to increasing evangelization by the evangelicals in muslim countries and a fear of them gaining converts so they bombard you tube with utter lies and hatred. This is why I wont calm down like that Muslim suggested its not the same for them whilst there are some videos opposing them from evangelical Christians and some from atheists and such there is nothing like the amount of material that Muslims upload. The share amount of videos abusing and ridiculing Christianity is unfathomable much of it from the great biblical “scholar “ ahmed dedat.
