**When did it become possible to post a post that has not a character in it :hypno: ? I though that was impossible. **

I hope these converts aren’t left to fend for themselves - it’s not going to be easy to become used to so different a religion as Catholicism is. Protestants are Christians, unlike Muslims, & plenty of them have difficulty with parts of Catholicism (several of the Anglicans received in 1992, have gone back to the C of E): & it’s hard enough for Muslim converts to Evangelical Protestantism, which is a little less distant from Islam in some ways than the CC.

I don’t think the numbers really matter. History tells us the early Christians were tortured and/or murdered at a frightening rate, and yet, here we are.
Jesus also said that his kingdom was not of this world so, ultimately, it may matter more HOW we die than whether we live, greater numbers or not.
Whether we die from martyrdom or from another cause!
A message for all Christians on this thread:

By the grace of God, and by Christian love, we will eventually convert Islam. It’s going to be a tough task ahead. There will continue to be a lot of Christian martyrs who will die loving God and their Muslim killers.

This witness of love will strike at the heart of Islam. Love will conquer, it always does, mark my words. We did it before with mighty empires, and we will do it again. This giant religion of Islam will never be able to conquer the love of Christianity.

Chantings of Allahu Akbar (God is Great) will change into Allahu Mahaba (God is Love). The sword of Islam will be crushed by Christian love, and the love of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

Here is the chief cross of the Church of the East used by Chaldean Catholics, such as myself, and other Christians:

Do you see the smoke underneath the cross? This is the smoke of Islam which the Cross has triumphed over. St. Paul tells us that “The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” (1 Cor. 1:18). This very power of God will convert the Muslims. They will one day embrace the Cross. They will one day recognize the love of Jesus Christ for them as He died and resurrected for them and the rest of mankind.

Mark my words, Islam will be conquered by the love of God poured out upon them. The Holy Spirit will move among them and will strike at their hearts with His love.

They seek to strike terror in our hearts (Al-Aafal 008.012):

SHAKIR: When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.

And we seek to strike love in their hearts (Matt. 5:44)

But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,

This is how they will be conquered, by love and by prayer for them. As soon as we reject the command of God to love them and pray for them, we will loose this battle. We must love them to the end even if it happens that they capture us and put us to the sword. My people are going through this right now, one of our Archbishops in Iraq was recently killed by them. We must never give up on loving them. Christ is the King and has already conquered the world by His love.

We must never reject Christ by not loving a Muslim. When we don’t love a Muslim, we reject Christ. We rejoice when we die loving them, they rejoice when we die by their sword. We must never ever hate them, and when we do, we cease to be faithful followers of Christ. This is how people know us as Christians, by our love, and when we don’t follow the Christian teaching on love, we become Christians in name only, and not the Christians that Christ wants us to be.

Remember, love the Muslims!

God bless,

Rony

The above Qur’an quote should read Al-Anfal, not Al-Aafal, sorry.

Thank you Rony. I believe all of the above as well, though I admit it is hard to love a people who want to destroy your religion and culture - your very way of life. In my daily prayers, I have added a prayer for the people of islam, that they will recognize the love and truth of Christ.

Didn’t anyone read my post? I gave all the details of the recent numbers of Islam and Catholicism in the world population.

Perhaps so, but read the rest of the article, and it really isn’t by much anyway. I do not think these numbers are correct coming from Islamic nations…🤷
Actually it’s the Catholic numbers that are inflated as most “Catholic” countries have very, very low rates of baptised Catholics actually practicing the religion.

Look at the numbers in Spain, France, Itally, etc.

No YOU look at the numbers in Spain and in Italy. 98% of the Spanish in Spain only, are Catholic. How are you to talk about Italy? Have you been there? Seeing that I just came back from 5 countries and everything is Catholic, there is a church on every corner in Europe, dating from centuries ago.
You are here to discredit Catholics, it is very obvious you have a disliking for us. So what else is new?🤷

Your information is totally wrong, yet you will still stop at nothing to continue to say negative things about the 1.7 billion Catholics on this planet. 😛

I’m a Catholic.

I was refering to the numbers of PRACTICING Catholics in Spain, Itally, France etc.

Spain is approximately 77% Catholic(and all of them would for purposes of those numbers be counted as Catholics, yet far less are practicing)

catholicnewsagency.com/new.php?n=10175

Now, certianly plenty of Muslims are non-practicing, however Europe is so culturally Catholic that Baptism is simply part of growing up, it can be a cultural practice divorced from and religious fidelity.

The decline of catholicism is most due to the spread of protestantism with its easy way out of preaching. i remember that in Brasil years ago catholics were 89% of population, now is down to 62 or 68%. protestants were very limited. in the nineties american protestants sneak into the country with their charities pretext and spread throughtout. now they have these mega churches taking all the money they can get their hands on from the poorst of the poorest. why? because the catholic church says one thing, protestants says another. catholic church we need confession, they say we dont need confession. CC says we need a pope, protestants says we dont need authority. CC says the Eucharist is the true Body and Blood of our Lord, protestants say not true. therefore, people are very confused but since we know who we are and the easy it is for us the better it is many will take the lie before the Truth. they are very successfull with the young generation. and that is why we are in such a mess right now in our religious believes. as long as we have this opposition it is difficult for catholics to stay true to their faith or even know where the truth is. It is a terrible burden for CC. as for myself i offer no support for those who are against what we believe as the truth and are leading others away from the truth and trying to destroy the CC. I love them for the Lord commanded that we love our enemies, but they are against us and not for us.
God is Mighty, in deed.

I hear on the FOX news station that more and more people are converting to the Catholic faith from Islam. QUOTE]

You heard on Fox News Channel? Wow if they said it, it must be true. Truth doesn’t come through any other network like it does Fox News.

No, honestly, I heard a man say this in an interview with Fox.

🙂 Nice photo:) No robin eggs (found) here yet! A few years ago I was reading from the Encyclop. Britannica and about Christianity it said something to the effect…"…among the world’s religions it alone is based on Love." What is love but decent interactions among any and all members of the greater community. Also, “The present warming trend began about 20,000 years ago.” (under glaciation).🙂 Colmcille
