I remember watching a National Geographic documentary on the Hajj. One of the Nigerians got kicked out of the tent occupied by the Arabs. He ended up with the rest of the Asians or something. Isn’t that racism displayed by the superior Arab? This is a religion of oneness.

huh…millions performed Hajj each year. Tents are seperate for nationals of each country . Transports facilities are given country wise . Suppose : Aug 15 morn , busses will take citizens of US ; at noon citizens of UK will start their journey etc. So , if one national goes to others tent & stay there , it will create a problem for all .

I lived inside the tent of my country. When an old lady mistakenly came near to our tent , we did not kick her but helped her finding her tent ; So that she can stay with family members . Got it now ?

Idris Tawfiq has a degree in English language and Literature from the University of Manchester and a degree in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome.

For many years he was Head of Religious Studies in different schools in England and Wales and has much experience of teaching, both in the UK and Egypt.

Before embracing Islam, Idris was a Roman Catholic priest.

1. Why did that (supposed) Catholic priest choose the name Idris when he embraced Islam? What was his name before the alleged conversion?
2. Why did that priest change his surname? What was his surname prior to the alleged conversion?

Another case of unknown Christian name and surname of the supposed convert. Your posts make me think that these people had Islamic names and surnames before their conversion. How interesting!

Besides, people attending faculty of Christian theology may quite naturally have Islamic names, which does not necessarily nake them converts to Islam.
