Do you people know what Paraclete means? It translates into "defense Council.’ Just as Satan translates into “Accuser” The Holy Spirit is the one who defends us from the accusations of the devil, both in this life, and more importantly, in the final judgement (think of a courtroom). He is our “attorney” when we stand before God. Muhammed CANNOT be that. A man is not capable of that job, only God is.

Muhammad the paraclete? so you believe Muhammad to be God? why don’t you quote the passages that refute you, instead of giving us some unfounded poetry about a man’s name?
inJessu, as we understand from the bible, parclete means a comforter, not any God. Do you mean that Jesus promised his followers that God will give them another god (parclete)??? Surely not.

It only means a comforter. As we Muslims believe Jesus to be a comforter (and not God) so there is no problem for us Muslims to expect another comforter like Jesus. Thanks.

We believe that another comforter will be a walking talking person like Jesus, not an unseen thing. Of course the Comforter will be supported by the Holy Spirit just like Jesus was supported by the Holy spirit.

We believe that Muhammad was always supported by the Holy Spirit (the angel Gabriel). The holy Spirit (angel) did not leave our prophet Muhammad even for a moment.

Muhammad had two names, i.e. Ahmad and Muhammad.
Ahmad= Parclete= The cool, the Comforter= the loving, the gentle=The one with Beauty i.e. Jamaal=, the one who praises Allah most of all people.= The One like Jesus.

Muhammad= The praised one= The one whom Allah praises most= The one who has power and glory. i.e Jalaal.= The One like Moses a.s.

So whereas Jesus had only one role as a nice and loving, peaceful teacher, Muhammad had the dual role. First the role of Jesus for 13 years in Makkah where he was highly persecuted but did not resist. He worked like Jesus a.s.

Later when he shifted to Madinah, he was attacked by the infidels (pagans) of Makkah, his old enemies who had turned him out of the city of Makkah. Those pagans were liable deserved to be killed any time. Muhammad defended himself and his followers. He acted like Moses a.s. That was not any sinful act. He saved the believers and routed the enemies of all faiths. he was victorious.
I am confused as he attacked merchant caravans from Medina. As you probably know Medina was a small village that had very little. The merchants would take their goods from Mecca east The merchants had no need to go to Medina or to attack Muhammed. He attacked them as was natural for people of the Arab Penisula. The rule was to attack others, clan and then brothers in that order. Muhammed attacked merchants carvans that were not persecuting him. Is your belief common with Muslims?

Also what about the three poets he had assisnated because their poems did not show him in a positive light. Do you believe it is okay to kill someone for writing something about another person?

Do you wish me to begin posting sorces for my statements?

I would also like to follow up his approval to worship three goddesses. At later date he stated he was tricked by the Devil and then stopped the practice. How do you not know that his other beliefs were the trick of the Devil?

I am truly curious how this is reconciled.

What happened to the rich men that proposed that the three Goddesses existed and should be worshipped? Do you know? I am curious how this was handled.
PJ these are your vague accusing statements without any reference. They have no value. While you are worshipping a man god (Jesus), the muslims never did anything like that. And Muhammad came to break all idols and false gods and false notions about gods, about son god and sun god. he taught that there is no God except One God that is Allah which some people call God/Yehwah/ Eli etc.

If Gabriel did not leave him why did Gabriel rebuke him for allowing the worship of three female goddesses.

My understanding though is Gabriel did not always speak to him voice. Many of his thought were internal. Is this not true?

SO God cannot comfort people, only another person can? What comfort did Muhammed bring?

If Gabriel never left him, why did he teach about godesses?

Tomorrow I will bring sources for my statements.

I was referring to two verses taken out of the Quran Sura 53:19-20.“Have ye thought upon Al Lat and Al Uzza and Manatm the third, the other? These are the exalted cranes whose intercession is to be hoped for” Accounts state that tell us that after this revelation was completed Muhammed, his followers and the pagan Arabs all fell in prostration. This is from the book Sacred Places of Goddess by Karen Tate, Brad Olsen. Page 167. It can also be found in the Book Muhammed to Tor Andre page 23.

My understanding is that Gabriel told him he was tricked by the devil. Is this not taught to Muslims? Is this the first you have heard of it?

we will let the Bible teach who the Paraclete is, after all, you are quoting the Bible:

John 14:26. “But the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

Was Muhammad sent in Jesus’ name? did Muhammad teach the apostles everything and remind then of what Jesus told them?

John 14:15-18. “If you love me, you will obey what I command, and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Paraclete to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

is Muhammad eternal, omnipresent, transparent and dwells in people?

What don’t you do your prophet a favour and stop looking for him in a corrupt book? after all, God blessed us with His words that testify about Jesus, but when it came to /muhammad, the books disappeared and Allah left you with nothing but corrupt books to find his beloved final messenger…in other words, he left you with nothing so it is actually an insult to the last prophet of humanity.

If he was a great prophet why did he take soldiers at all?
Moses (p) was a great Prophet , right ? Why Jesus (p) inspired him to take soldiers with him , killed men but saved young virgins ?

… Where do you see in the Bible that Jesus told Moses to kill men and save young virgins?
oh my God. You are a Catholic & u don’t believe that Jesus (p) was always there since the beginning ?

War , Slavery , polygamy , keep virgins alive for soldiers —all are lawful regarding OT …if not lawful in NT. Surely God made these lawful for the believers & if Jesus (p) is God , then I wonder why asked such a question ?

And it is not (right) for you that you should **annoy **Allah’s Messenger, nor that you should ever marry his wives after him (his death). Verily! With Allah that shall be an enormity. S. 33:53

you are correct that the word “forbidden” is not used but a stronger language of threats in place. It is said to have been revealed concerning a man who wanted to marry one of the wives of muhammad after he died, he was his compagnion Talha if i recall well.
Interesting! Looks like it was the Companions who were forbidden from marrying his (saws) wives though, rather than the reverse. Interesting. Thanks for bringing up the verse. Like I said, I wasn’t sure. 🙂

Is is bad to marry Muhammed’s wife as she was like the spiritual mother but it was ok to marry the wife of a boy who was like his son?
How do you feel about the situation, knowing that the woman involved did not want to be married to the “boy who was like [Muhammad’s saws] son,” and that she wanted to marry the Prophet Muhammad (saws.) Does that matter?

I would not marry any woman who had been married to a freind. Now the specific relationship must be taken into account. If he was a slave, then Muhammed took from he who had little. If he was like a son, then he took from his son.

Someone has to be the better person. If she was not happy with the boy, fine, let her go. But to leave him for the Muhammed looks an aweful lot like a gold-digger to me.

I understand. I am just curious as you do not believe Christ was God yet you attempt to use him as proof for Muhammed. Do you believe this is a rational argument for a Muslim.

Your statement shows that perhaps you are not fully comprehending the change from the OT and the NT. As it is one God it was not a new thought; however, is was a progressive thought for us as we became mature enough to understand. Killing and stealing from others is not acceptable. Christ came to earth to show us the new convenant. If the Muslims still believe in killing and stealing such as the assisination of the three poets or the stealing from the merchant caravans that would stand against the teaching of Christ. It also shows a lack of faith in God and God providing. Faith in God means full devotion and belief that he will provide without hurting a fellow person. All people have a right to the same life. Christian, non-christian, muslim, non-muslim, infidel or not all deserve respect as they are the creation of God. No man has the authority to destroy God’s creations. Am I misunderstanding your point or do you believe that Muhammed’s action were good?

Muhammed (p) is a Prophet of God , Zaid was not .

Zainab was not the mother or sis or daughter of the Prophet . So , what’s the problem here ? Zainab wanted to marry the Prophet , God arranged this marriage . She was very happy about that & proudly told others wives of the Prophet that your marriage took place here in this earth , my marriage took place in heaven ( don’t remember the exact words …something like that).

All marriages of people that believe in God take place in heaven. Muhammed would have broken the bond God created in the first marriage. He chose to refuse Gods authority for a worldly possession.

ROFL

Muhammad wasn’t someone who kept excess wealth around and he never accepted charity. Gold-digger? That’s funny.

But she did not want to be married to Zaid–he was no longer a slave, he had been freed, but she had a bad opinion of him for it. And she wanted to be married to Muhammad. 🤷
